Those are the best 5 tips.Very informative...I'll like to add a 6th.Shampoo once or twice a week.Brush your hair when you're wetting it and also brush it when you're rinsing the shampoo out.Stay with the pattern you brush.NEVER dry your hair with a towel.BRUSH until its moist and add your pomade to your moist hair.Cap/rag up for at least 2 hours.. But preferably overnight.Do that everytime you shampoo or condition...DONT use the towel...brush out the water the same way you brush your waves.
Ramon Valdez it depends on what brush your using just dont use a soft brush i used a soft brush for 2 weeks and got no progression but when i used a medium brush it brought all my progression out within 5 minutes of brushing
@@kingfiness9562 People with tightly curled hair can have waves when their hair is very short because it curls up sooner.People with more straighter hair has to let their hair grow to a longer length to achieve good waves because it won't start curling until it's longer.You need some type of curliness in your hair to have waves.

Another tip is quit washing your hair all the time. And when you do use the brush to run the shampoo through your hair. But wash in colder water because hot water straightens hair and that’s not what you want either.
When I cut my dreds off in 2005 I had waves in 6 weeks and brushing with Murrays wave grease wearing a durag at night and wolfing is the most importing part of the process! I waited 6 weeks before my first cut and I had 360 waves! After the 3rd wolfing session (every 6 weeks)I was getting my regular weekly cut and never looked back #360WaveLife!

When you looking in the mirror you don't get the same angles from the picture. I always think I need a haircut because I look in the mirror and it don't look as nice to me but everybody else think I don't need one. It's just based on perspective.

I have a high skin fade and the top is pretty long and boxed out, pretty much a short Crop Fringe....should I shave my hair too a number 2 so it's the same lenght so that way my waves will grow out the same lenght?
