As a cactus grower and collector, I'm incredibly disappointed to see you destroying an endangered copiapoa in Chile when you could have grabbed any common ferocactus or barrel cactus to illustrate your point. The cactus you hacked up and so unceremoniously tossed away after using for a drink was over 100 years old and protected by the Chilean government and is illegal and very unethical to destroy. Also equally disappointed to see you deleting comments and blocking people on your instagram page who try to start a dialogue with you about this. I will be writing and calling in to Nat Geo as well as directing all my followers to do the same.
