Rhapsody in rock was a 3 night show in July. I was there on the last night and it was amazing. You have a few videos on my channel. The voice of Glenn Hughes, the older guy on stage with Tommy in this video, was still pure magic. He sang Burn there with Tommy on guitar. Robert Wells, the guy behind the grand piano, has done Rhapsody in rock for 35 years. Many of the years in Dalhalla. If you look at the older videos here on Tommy's channel, you can find one called Rhapsody in rock (from 8 years ago). That's how Robert found Tommy. They played that one together on this show 🥰
This was neoclassical 10 years before it was invented thanx to Mr Blackmore And Tommy raise the bar on the solo and did a fantastic job on Mr Lords solo and sang even higher than Mr Hughes. Tommy is the best musican in our umivers. Thanx from a Blackmore fan!
@@BemusingBillHi there Mr musican, Im a old musican myself who was on stage in the full blown crazy eighties. A fun era with so many great bands. First guitar Ibanez strata nowadays a Fender strat and a Gibson explorer.Happy with them.
That was mind-blowing. Never heard the original so I have no way to compare but Tommy always puts his own stamp on things and I'm sure he did this time too. And, I'm always up to hearing what that stamp is.
It's such a great classic metal song! It took me only a few minutes to learn the main riff. It's simple yet powerful and what a great groove! Tommy picks some great songs to cover! ❤️❤️
I was there and it was really great 😊 Everything was good but Tommy was the best 👏🏻
So lucky, my friend!! 🤘❤️🤘

Looks like nobody here noticed that Glenn Hughes was there, and performing with Tommy.
I didn't recognize him but a lot of folks in the comments mentioned that. Too cool!
Tommy's red Charvel looks very similar to the red Kramer behind you. 😁
Exactly what I was thinking! So you know that's the one I grabbed when I learned that main riff! 🤘❤️🤘
Dalhalla, Sweden at the pit in Rattvik. So beautiful, I would love to see a concert there!
