This machine may just be a diamond in the rough but when Mike and Matt get finished, the yard ordainment becomes a polished chariot that will be great for all of the above…... It may need a safety belt added in the basket for safety by osha standards….lol. Great job. Pride Of Ownership #1

A little dirt in my coffee this morning is always a good thing...
As a retired union electrician, I have spent countless hours in all types of man lifts, so this was a kind of a flash from the past.
I was actually pretty surprised to see a JLG show up on one of your videos, but can see where this type of equipment could be very useful.
If you are going to be using this lift at any serious height I would recommend a body harness and lanyard for any occupants, ( especially if you ever go outside the basket to reach something that would be impossible to reach otherwise, of course I never did anything like that because it would violate OSHA rules!!! )
Congratulations on buying a piece of equipment I never expected to see in a Dirt Perfect video, I should know by now to expect the unexpected.
    Awesome video... Good job guys...

I didn't think the hood would make the trip home, I was pleasantly surprised it made it. Seeing it at your shop gave me all the confidence it would be restored to working order, not new but workable with a fairly small collection of parts it will be brought back to life. I can see a lot of work on the Castle and lots of fun video's. this just got a whole lot safer. Keep up the good work guy's.

Awesome video Mike/Mr Millennial you two certainly got it right, absolutely rented/beaten on hard from Absolute Rental and Supply, 🤣 the only thing is they didn't supply you with the rest of the missing parts 😂 it is no surprise, we bought one for our shop ,a JLG , just a step or 2 up from this model in size , ours is dual fuel , propane or gasoline and goes up to 55/60 ft , our shop is 100,000 sq ft and 50 ft ceilings, it was a rental unit and my plant mgr was shocked when i told what it'll look like , i use to be in the business back in the early-mid 90's, so we put some $3k into it prior to putting it into service , the millwrights and our electrician did the work over a weekend at time and a half i might add, we needed it Monday morning to clean out our cooling towers for our heat treat furnaces , it was a real time crunch for us and it worked great, our hood btw was in much better shape than your franked hood ,lol , dam tires cost a small fortune though there's only 2 suppliers in Canada , so we bought then out of the US and still saved money, it has payed for itself 3 or 4 times over is my guess and I'll bet you find in a years time how you got by without one, look forward to the next video on it

The pull tab on the decal packaging reminded me of an old adage about a group of aviation engineers trying to fix a problem with wings breaking off their new design.
Unbeknown to the engineers while they were all standing around scratching their heads and getting splinters in their fingers the test pilot got busy and drew something with a ball point pen on the wings right where the skin always tore then suggested "trying it again".
During that flight the wings stayed on just fine no matter what the test pilot did and when he eventually landed the amazed engineers asked him if he had any idea what made all the difference?
The pilot replied that he just drew a dotted line on the wings because everybody knows that nothing ever tears on a dotted line!

    Diesel, Nice.
They say when you hit 50 cut up your ladders and buy a lift. With the amount of farm buildings to work on I bought a 1999 Genie multifuel Z45-25 and it came with previous owner issues. 😁Wiring grounds, non weather proof switches, hydraulic hose replacements are fun for the boom reaching 40 ft long. Better than visiting the hospital with 2 broken legs after falling off a ladder, it happens. Always store my lift inside when not in use.

A piece of rubber roofing makes a great cover for the control panel. Attach it to the hinge area and drape it over the front of the panel. Weight it with a piece of 1/4" × 2" steel bar.

just buy the ones they make, they work better and arent too awful expensive, at least those expensive controls will be protected.

Loved it ... sometimes "Rain Days" are fun !!! Can't wait for the next installment ... think you'll be keeping "Frank" for your own use as well as a "Loaner" for friends/relatives ("Quid Pro Quo" stuff).

Kind of ironic Diesel Creak just put out a video working on his man lift. Yours looks much newer and in better shape.
