eschatos is of greek origin meaning "the last in place", in the case of this game means the last resort. you control the last fighter, you are the last hope.

Got this game on Steam and REALLY enjoying it! Music is just a brilliant.
I got this game at a convention. Love it. The wonky camera angle shifts can get annoying, but this game rocks my socks. Beautiful music too.

I live un europe, the best price I found for this is 57 euros. And for example Death Smiles cost 15 euros, Sine Mora 800 points, Strania 800 points etc. I know some shmups cost even more like Strike Witches. But I think you got the idea.
By UA-cam ads, selling merchandise and fan donations. And, also, he receive many games in donation that, maybe, he can resell.

Looks pretty good, but it's hard to tell when your bullets are actually doing damage sometimes, though maybe that's just the video.
Also, all consoles should be 100% region free!
360 shmups FTW, love it when Mark gets his hands on these things

I don't know. I don't know Fashion TV but, about CGR, I think is not much expensive to produce. Also becouse they often rely on donations of games and console. Actually I also have a game to donate. I'm wating to have other stuff for making a package to send :)

Eschatos the wonderprice version is cheap to import from playasia.com at £25,
Thats less than the new localised shmup Under Defeat HD which is just under £30

Nes is a good counsole...obviouslly...but its not a shmup machine.
actually most XBLA shmups are flops and make very little money overall for the dev. This includes both Sine Mora (1200msp) and Strania (800msp) where the devs themselves said so.
Unless is a game made very cheaply or a rerelease like Ikaruga and Trouble Witches then niche shmups only make money for the dev released as a budget boxed title same as niche PSP games, like Deathsmiles, Akia Katana and Under defeat HD. Considering most boxed shmups are very well made its worth paying £20-£30

sega mega drive and classic games are good man but seriously xbox and sega are going strong for me i buy all the classic arcade games on their because i prefer hdmi to svideo

Can you really get enough money from ads alone? I see Fashion TV putting daily videos that look really expensive to produce. I doubt ads get them enough money to send those camera people to all those expensive events around the world with so much consistency.

Nope it's 360 only, and since emulators can't even do the original xbox properly I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it to be emulated. For current gen machines soft modding the consoles will be how ppl continue to play these games 5 years from now.

It's a quite new (2011) game, developed for 360, not an arcade port, so it will never be supported by MAME. Get a real console and a game or wait 10-20 years for an emulator.
