Hey, What link are you referring to? I've got all the links in the description of the video. If you're referring to the body confidence toolkit, the link is here: lyndicohen.com/tools-body-image

This was much needed. Diet has been on mind every single day and I’m exhausted.

You telling yourself that there is always more food and it isn't going anywhere is absolutely revolutionary! If I didn't have chocolate in the house, I would crave it, bad, to the point where I would drive to Woolies to get a block, only to eat the whole thing in one sitting! Now I repeat that phrase and keep a block in the pantry without feeling as much guilt for it being in my cupboard. Blame my parents for instilling the idea that chocolate and junk food are "toxic for you".

All of your meals look delicious. Thank you for your advice. There is plenty of food (meals) that i can make that are both delicious and healthy.

Thank you for this video! I was going on a shame spiral and listening to your tips helped me so much! Everything really resonated with me, and when you said, "check your hormones", I realized that absolutely applies to me RIGHT NOW and I actually laughed to myself. Thank you so much!

Also, what are your thoughts on weight loss surgery? I have a handful of friends who have gone through the procedure, only for some of them to be drinking the same amount of alcohol or eat the same kind of food.
To me, it feels like people are jumping on this bandwagon that surgery fixes everything

I think can definitely be helpful for some, but it's not a magic fix. The surgery doesn't tackle the root issues behind unhealthy eating habits, like emotional eating or reliance on alcohol, therefore, it might not lead to long-term success- which begs the question: is it actually worth it? I think the most important step is building a healthy relationship with food and finding your happy weight is addressing those underlying behaviours for a healthier, lasting change

I’m Bariatric and it’s a tool. It helps a lot but it doesn’t cure mental hunger and bad lifestyle style habits. You can easily gain weight with it however! If your committed to the dirt it’s amazing
