    After hearing your points about the Sabertooth, I went ahead and bought one. Mine was about $185USD but it sounds like it will be a worthwhile investment! Hopefully we'll be starting on the top frame soon, we finally finished the carriage and it is level as can be, really glad we took the extra steps to make sure it's level and square!

      Nice one SM on both counts. Yes. A nice level starting point should pave the way for you to have less issues with the way it runs. Great work on the sabretooth purchase. I'm so pleased I pulled the trigger on getting one.
      You won't regret it. I will say that so far so good with the other 2 IBT-2's. They are both delivering the goods with the TL and surge motors. They stay really cool, but are responsive and powerful with those motors. In saying that though, the rig would probably be that much better again if I did spring for another 2 x 32 but like you said, they ain't cheap so the IBT-2's are staying for now.

    May have some Sabertooth cards laying about, as I moved onto AC servo motors many years ago.
