I often fear Jesus’ coming because I can’t seem to live up to His calling. I feel as I am a failure. I fear I am weak and that I haven’t done enough to gain His favor or find His purpose for my life. I have a special needs son and I am a full time mom. I often feel tired and defeated. Please pray that God may help me find His purpose for my life.

Yesterday in church we had a missionary who works with a group who rescues little children from sex traffickers. They have gone in and out of these countries where there is much corruption in the police force, and yet they receive favor from officials who might otherwise not give them the time of day. I received favor from God a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to sell my travel trailer since last October. We didn’t have a good place to put it where people would see it. I think it was the end of January that my son came home and told me about a guy who owns an RV repair shop. The man told us to bring it to him and it would sell. Long story short it not only sold for the amount God laid on my heart last October but I got extra which paid me back for the money I put into getting some work done on it. The sale went so smooth and fast it was amazing. But that’s how our God works. So if you aren’t receiving Gods favor try praying about it and see what happens. God loves to give good things to His children. He is “an ever present help in time of trouble.”

Chapter designations in the Bible are a man-made convenience. The inspired writers of the Bible did not divide their letters into chapters and verses. The seventh chapter of revelation is an “Interlude“ that covers all seven years from the heavenly perspective, as it relates to the Jewish Remnant and Gentiles “sheep” who enter the kingdom. The first verse of chapter 8 is actually the conclusion of the chapter 7 interlude. After which, chapter 8 changes gears and begins a recap of Trumpets 1-6, which are all part of Seal 5 and cover the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 year judgment. Trumpet 7 covers the Bowl judgments. Seal 7 (represented by 8:1) signifies the wonder and relief of the planet and heavenly host that the wrath is over and the times of refreshing and rest can begin. Besides the references of Zechariah 2:13 and Habakkuk 2:20 given in the video, Isaiah 14:7 is also a wonderful cross reference for this event.
