Yes - That this tune is the BEGINNING - this is one of the two fiddle tunes released on the very first Country Music Record. Eck Robertson in 1922 playing "Sallie Gooden" from the beginning unitl today and Michael Cleveland just layed down ownership of the new icon of fiddling for our generation. How many young people are now going to seek out some fiddle music, or pick up an instrument. We need Billy and Michael to be a big part of planning a huge celebration in July of 2022 for the 100th anniversary of Eck's recording of "Sallie Gooden" no one else can do it!

Michael Cleveland and BIlly Strings are a powerful combo but it's going to have to be a special treat to see them together I think for now... maybe in 10 years or something. They are both established artists in their own right and both in their prime creative years. They need to pursue their own directions. MIchael Cleveland has the top Bluegrass album of 2020 already, and a packed touring schedule of his own. He's at the top of his career arc. We can only hope that both one off sit in sets, and some sort of collaboration on an album or a short tour might happen in the next few years.

Original Eck Robertson Recording "Sallie Gooden" but tradtions of spelling vary. In some regions Sally Goodin is a bit diferent tradition of the tune than Sallie Gooden.
