@@rutabagaleroy I agree. On that point, being fair, The Main Fox Network(not FS1) did show the Orioles/Rangers game 3 from Texas on Tuesday night. Plus a couple of games in the LCS. With that said, at least 1 playoff game from the wild card to the LCS should be on a major over the air network ie Fox or ABC/ESPN.
The tv contract between 1996-2001 was ideal. That is when Fox, ESPN and NBC had at least 1 every post season game and every LCS and World Series was on free over the air network TV. Let TBS/TNT, FS1, ESPN should only show the afternoon games(being simulcast on the 2 teams free over the air channels)
It was not a base running mistake. It was a calculated risk that didn't pan out due to a n all star play.

@@seanguzy9601 it's a mistake if it's the 2nd inning. It's not a mistake in this scenario. If he gets to third base the chances of him scoring are miniscule. It was a calculated risk to go for the tie cause it was gonna be hard to get another chance.

As a Nats fan this is such a fascinating series to watch. The Braves were so good during the regular season, but to be truly great you gotta win when everyone is watching.
The Phils look like they are playing unconscious, esp the pitching. If not for the Harper base running mistake, they might have swept the Braves.
If Harper isn't caught, he's on first with two outs. Certainly a chance, but not in scoring position. We'll take Harper the way he is. Which has been as clutch a dude as I've ever seen wear a Phillies uniform. And I'm been watching since the mid-60's.

That was a blunder, but that's not what lost them the game. Turner's errors. Acuna getting HBP. Wheeler staying in too long. Phils leaving 16 runners stranded. That cost them the game 2.

Classic Harper! Last time he hit two dingers, he was coming off a one run loss to the Blue Jays and he had struck out swinging in the ninth inning. Someone in the second deck said "you suck Harper!" and that was all it took for him to bounce two balls out the next day. It turns out, it was a super Phillies fan saying "good luck Harper"!! Nevertheless, Harper double throat slashed the next day. Moral of the story, do not notice the mistakes of Harper, it makes him really mad and dangerous.

I would like to mention Jim Thome, when he signed with the Phils it was really sign for me that the Phils ready invest into winning. I know he did not win with this group...it just seem to change my outlook. One more player Aaron Roland, will never forget him crashing into the CF wall...
I just loved the Phils teams from 2004-2011 they were fun to watch. The last 3 years with the Phils and the 93 season just also fun to watch Phils teams.

We're used to this in Atlanta. The Braves are great until it matters. They play lackluster baseball after they clinch, take time off, and then can't get it going again. The Phillies look like they want it more while the Braves look like they're sleepwalking through the playoffs again.
There are a lot of beautiful things in this world. Few are more beautiful than a devastated Braves fan.

I wouldn’t even call it a mistake, that ball was smoked. Harris needed to make a full sprint jump catch crashing into the wall to get the out, it had a 99% hit probability and it wouldve been a hr in 17 ballparks.

Told my Phillies loving nephew after the Phillies lost game two in Atlanta that they needed to hit 5 home runs in their two home games to beat the braves. Never saw my bums hit 6 home runs in a single game. Hope Harper can hit a homer in game four. Might have been first time Ace Nola had three good outings in a row this season. Hope he finishes the season not loosing another game.
