I just realised something weird about tigre in this series, in his letter he said he wants his badge gone and then cutting to the jail scene he immediately says it's not funny that a man lost his job like what happened between scenes
I mean, it would've been like, a while since he wrote the letter, so he was going to change his mind about stuff by the end of it all.

How come April May and Jake Marshall didn't send letters? They were also arrested by Phoenix and Edgeworth

I guess Jake Marshall spent enough time behind bars. I mean, he tempered with some evidence and hit Mike Meekins, but if you understand his motives, he would have been sent to prison several months (in Germany, he would most likely get probation, but Idk how easy that is in Japan). Jake's case takes place in early 2017, T&T in late 2018/early 2019, so it's possible he already was released.
As for April May, she stated she was afraid to end up like Mia. So, she already should be released too, bcs she was forced to assist the true culprit, and her case was long before Jake's. 🙂

Few things to say.
Some things make more sense than others. More notable one to me is Roland's letter. Why is she so mad ? She should mention the fact that prisons are like a home to her anyway, something like that, rather. Also um. What was Kay gonna get ?

Okay now I also think Blaise's letter is completely out of character and is a really miss on something that could've been really cool. What a shame.

Some things in this series is flawed, yes, and I'm remastering the fuck out of it to make sure it won't have the mistakes you're pointing out. With that said... keep in mind that I didn't exactly know how Blaise Debeste actually acted, because I haven't played AAI2 at that point.
