You don't realize just like you don't realize the sand going down. Its so gradual you don't think your getting dumber. But I assure you, all these sites are wasting away you and you all talking to alike personality people who just tell jokes on youtube 24-7 is not helping the situation. I know this sounds like something someone from Thailand would write, doing their best at english yet still sounding disconnected in the way they word things...so sorry, but I do speak english

I actually had 1 hour 1 minute and 20 seconds to fall asleep. A generous man rift is for lending us that extra minute and 20 seconds.
This is exactly how ASMR should be! Dark background, no bright studio lights which are awful on my eyes when im trying to sleep. Quiet and gentle sounds, not speaking a millimetre away from the mic so it sounds like my ear is being chewed off like everyone else does. Simple triggers that arent over complicated and distracting or chaotic. This is just pure bliss🙌🏼

Totally agree. I love the creative, expressive, zany stuff and the conversational pieces, too, but this was sooo peaceful.
I always found ER’s ASMR to be gentle on the ears. Sometimes other ASMRists that I like to listen to will have videos where I’m like Ayo my ear drums are ruptured.

Consistent sounds, generally subtle, really make great ASMR imo. School flims, the tapes had that consistent static sound. I think alot of people like a fan running just like me when they sleep, and/or videos/music. Its a nice consistent sound and it drowns out the creaks and whispering, and general annoying sounds without being a problem for sleep. I'd fall asleep to the sound of water slowly filling the bathtub, and have several hours of a tub being turned on, followed by the sound of the metal piping heating up and expanding as the water starts filling. I'm tired just thinking of it. I hunt for ASMR triggering media, from old infomercials, to music, and a ton of videos that explain and talk about all kinds of stuff. I did this before ASMR really hit YT, now everyone can identify with that feeling and enjoy it together without sounding like creeps and wierdos lol
I still hunt for weird old media for its welcoming qualities, thank you for making me feel less alone tonight.

Probably the reason he doesn't say much after he starts the timer - fewer lines to screw up. The biggest speaking part is after the timer runs out, and there IS a jump cut there at 1:00:03 . Wise strategy indeed.

Recently I’ve been watching a lot of Rift content and man, you are truly amazing.
