Lee said ib the courtroom: I did not push anybody (he did not say that he was not at the bluff). Hannah accused him because she wanted an alibe to be safe).
When Leslie was describing the justice of the peace who married him and Catherine, I laughed! He said he was a ,"Dusty little man, covered with cob webs." He said he thought he was an undertaker in his spare time! Hilarious! Funniest lines in the whole series.
It’s also funny that Michael Rossi is the only one who gave it with both barrels. Kinda gangsta there. He does not allow Martin Peyton to intimidate....
Of course, Leslie can only get drunk and pity himself in this situation! I enjoyed the scene between Martin and Dr. Rossi; it's the first time Martin really talked about Ann as his granddaughter.

Yes. They made SURE we saw the dirt crumbling and her foot in the high heeled shoe slipping. We were supposed to see that. Why? I do not believe she was murdered. I think she slipped and fell off that bluff.
I've watched this series all the way through twice. This is my third time, and I have run the gamut of theories of how Ann actually died. I never did buy the theory that Lee pushed her, so it came down to an accidental fall, or she jumped. After again watching her confrontation with Hannah, I came to the conclusion that Ann must have committed suicide. My reasoning being: Her argument with Hannah caused her to doubt that Chris was telling the truth when he said Ann didn't push him off the bluff. That maybe he just said it so she would stop badgering him. (If you go back and watch it again, she actually says this.) That, combined with the fact that she felt rejected by her mother, and had her image of her father destroyed, probably made her think she was as mad as she thought Hannah was. It put her right back at square one, wondering if she really did push Chris. It could have made her believe Mike would be better off without her if she could really do something so heinous. But actually, I'm not sure Mike even entered her mind before she jumped.
