I knew the immediate answer to the question but I learned so much more during this study. It was a great study. I’m really see things so so differently now. This reinforces that Every part of us belongs to him such a eye-opener. Thank you so much for teaching and preaching the gospel. Take good care.
Love the simplicity and format in how you address many subjects. Especially, this one. Straight forwardness in speaking the truth in love is needed today. We can't compartmentalize our faith. It must guide our every step and decision making. For we walk by faith and not by sight, and the just shall live by faith, 2 Cor. 5:7; Rom. 1:17. Thanks for the question and the address. May God continue to move you in this ministry.
That hits home. I have many tattoos from when I lived as the world. 5 years ago I became a Christian, and put the world behind me. Along the way I heard someone say that the new covenant didn't mention anything against tattoos. I didn't get one immediately but because I enjoyed getting tattoos, all it took for me to believe it was for the slightest mention because honestly that's what I wanted to believe. Thank you for this lesson. I did eventually get several more after being a Christian, but it's just like you said, my new ones are contradictory to my old ones and it will possibly inhibit my ability to share the gospel in such a way that people will believe it. Thank you for this lesson, I almost didn't watch it but I'm glad I did.
Such a great study! I believe there is a reason GOD wants us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice. As a Christian sometimes the things that are extremely popular in this world can be very enticing and sometimes you get caught up in what the world is doing and ignore what GOD instructs us to do through His Holy Word. We sometimes do things so we can fit in instead of being set apart or just standing out. Lord help us to thirst for the Word of God more than we thirst for the things of this world. We must be intentional about our Christian walk and make time to study the Word of God; in order to know exactly what God has intended for us to be and be obedient to God's word not the ways of this world. Thank you, Bro. Williams!
For some reason, my comment did not post properly. I mentioned the parable of the rich man and poor man coming to church finally dressed man and a shabby dress man about sitting here at my feet or sitting in the front, etc. So please excuse any confusion in my last post. Thank you for your time.
Brother, please tell me the scripture that talks about the clothes you wear to church. I read about consecrating, etc. I read a parable shall be dressed nicely dressed man. I read about not judging the outside of the cup but cleaning the inside of the cup. I see John the Baptist wearing animal skin. I read it back cleansing and cleanliness. I for the life of me in the entire Bible cannot find scripture concerning wearing your best clothes. Giving God your best in context, I have not found referring to clothing. Matter fact, looking at the spirit of God‘s word God looks at the inside of the cup the heart, and that seems to be what he’s more concerned about. Maybe I’m wrong. But I would love the scripture, not corrupted by how people feel. Brother, please provide me that. Thank you and God bless.
There is no scripture based on that. We don’t even know what the “best” really means. Do we have to go get the most expensive items in the world just to come to church? We consider the “best” to be suits and dresses when that’s all just tradition. Everyone has their own speculations on that subject. That said, imagine coming to church in undergarments.. or a short skirt..or even fully nude. There are some things that you just need the Holy Spirit to tell you. Other than that, we have no clue what the best actually means and I’m sure suits aren’t it and especially since they didn’t have those back then, they wore robes and stuff and even God wears a robe 😂 when God’s robe filled the temple because He was super huge. So since he wants us to dress our best, let’s all ditch the suits and dresses and wear robes instead if they really want to get technical 😂
And he tried to use Leviticus as a leverage to prove his point God cares about how you dress. Hair is important, it grows for a reason and see how the scripture didn’t mention anything of clothes but hair, markings and flesh.
exactly, that’s what i’ve been saying. other than dressing modestly there is nothing i’ve seen so far that says anything else on how you dress. a lot of Preachers have fallen into thinking that there is and that hurts the Church. i’d love to see where it says that as well.
In the Military, tattoos on your body were considered "Destruction of government property" and could get an Article 15. This of course was AFTER you enlisted in the Military.

This was a great lesson. I would love if you would address smoking. Many Christians don't see it as sin. Thank you Brother!

Great lesson! Thank you for staying studied up in His Word. May God continue to use you to help us all elevate our application of the scriptures.

Why do you not use,in Jesus name, when you pray?I listen to you everyday.
He did say, “in your name we pray” lol you don’t have to say “in Jesus name” everytime.
He said " in your name " we pray
Our bodies are going back to the dust
In all thy ways acknowledge him

Also, some of us cannot afford suits and fancy clothes as I can’t. I just wear what I have, at the end of the day, it’s just tradition.
And he tried to use Leviticus as a leverage to prove his point God cares about how you dress. Hair is important, it grows for a reason and see how the scripture didn’t mention anything of clothes but hair, markings and flesh.
Also, that is not crucial to entering the kingdom of heaven. Never worry about stuff like that too much that’s not for our soul salvation.

So why is your hair and your beard in contradiction to what Leviticus says?
I feel that preacher God deserves the best it still ain't good enough thoe
Tattoos are very addictive I just wanted to see what they meant and it's true
It's just like being in sin get up dust yourself off
