I love the use of flowers in this collection - especially the prints at the beginning that were reminiscent of the prints of oil paintings that were popular in the mid century. I usually don't swoon over florals, but the use of flowers from those prints to the flower collars & the embroidery on the final dresses - stunning!
again with Saab's perfect eye for color and cut. Not a badly-fitting bodice in the whole collection, and I was even won over, eventually, by the acidulated yellow/green. This is a stunning collection. Again.
I want that first blazer! Simply gorgeous! Fantastic collection! So much of it is classic enough that it will stand the test of time, and we should be seeing these on the red carpets for years. Bravo!

Absolutely stunning collection and far more to the point, focused on what a designer collection should be: classic design meant to withstand the test of time. While I am not overly fond of the mesh gown with brief look, he has done it the best I have seen making it tasteful and elegant. That is not easy to do in my view. I could see myself in 80% of what was shown here and that is rare for me. Well done, sir.
Any other collection from Elie takes my heart away. I struggled with this collection. It seems reserved if not conservative. I thought it was ralph lauren a few times. I was not so moved by this. Nonetheless, I love Elie's geniusness. ❤️
The model is supposed to make the clothes look good. When the hair is awful, they are not smiling and are not even close to being attractive, it does not help the clothes at all.
So to reiterate, you basically think the models AND their hairstyles are unattractive (aka ugly) - and that they are making the clothes look bad? Why? Because you think they themselves are ugly or because they aren’t wearing enough heavy makeup for you? Either way, you sound really mean and nasty. Were you to meet me, I’ll bet you’d tell me to smile and that I’m unattractive too. The models look lovely and their hair and makeup is understated and simple yes, but that’s fine - and I’m sure the styling is done that way to keep the focus on the clothes. And their faces looked calm, relaxed, and confident to me. Some even did have a slight smile. This is high fashion. In Europe, excessive smiling is considered imbecility. Your comments are just mean and judgmental. And I’m sure Elie Saab’s clothes wouldn’t look good on you either. Not with that highly unattractive personality of yours.

Uuuuuugh! I was wincing on just about everything that came down the runway. The puce was hideous and even the gowns, that might have been beautiful, were cheapened by being see through or grandma's lace. This can't be Elie Saab.
