Laura, your videos are so inspiring! I just wanted to thank you for the cheerfulness and expertise and professionalism that you bring to your channel. I am 68, and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer last year. One of the things I’ve learned is that working out in nature is actually a very strong anti-cancer modality. So, I listen to your videos when I have to have my rest times in the chair, and then I am able to get out and try some of your ideas in my gardens, and it brings me so much joy! Thank you for allowing God to use your business also as a ministry. I’m praying God‘s blessings on your precious young family. 💗🙏

It's so nice to see someone my age gardening. It's really a dying art and I love how you bring back the "old fashioned" plants, like irises. It's really refreshing and I appreciate your channel! Happy gardening!

I used to do what she is doing in a breeze, but at 77 it is way harder. Cannot get that shovel as deep as I used to and no more squatting. So I do what I can, when I can. Love it still!

This is excellent and has given me some great ideas. We bought a new construction home two years ago, had big plans and then life happened. This year we’ve started putting in our gardens. Listening to your channel while digging in the dirt has been so relaxing. We’ve made it a family project.

Laura, I giggled as I watched this video just now ...you recently announced you're expecting a baby, and in this video almost exactly 1 year earlier it appears you're drawing a baby carriage as you sketch your plans for this bed! 🍼 I live in central Florida, and my growing climate differs greatly from yours, but I enjoy you, Aaron & Dexter so much.

You need to consider a plant amnesty program. Plants that have out grown their light requirements like those healthy looking roses should have been given the opportunity to live out their lives in another area of your garden. I have a " plant ophanage" area in my garden where evicted or poorly growing plants (too little, too much) light, water, drainage, etc required their admission into the ophanage. There, they get extra TLC full sun, correct pruning, watering, feeding, until they are reinvigorated and healthy and I find a new place for them. Plant rescue. In my own garden because charity begins at home, eh? For all us old gardeners who dont have a heart to throw away divisions or orphans, consider donating them to your local garden club fundraising plant sale. The money they raise pays to improve local public gardens and promote gardening in your community

My variegated iris, Padilla, didn't like the shade, wonder how yours fared.
That spiral arborvitae was so pretty but it really didn't shine so close to the tree trunk. I'd put it on the other side or drop in a weeping upright silver evergreen there perhaps. Umbrella evergreen would be nice there too as the shape and leaf shape is completely different from the tree trunk. Idk....
That gazebo is long gone now...
