I like Amoyal musicality a lot. He said himself in an article I've read he loves to teach. When you want someone very good like this young student to improve it is because you see true talent. It's clear that this young musician is extremely talented and already masters this piece from a purely technical point of you. The teaching here seems clearly about how to choose to interpret the piece and all about feeling the music and then sharing your emotion with the audience. At the end of the video the young student became "braver" in his playing and Amoyal looked genuily impressed. I didn't know this piece, it is really very beautiful.
Very good attempt at trying to coach a shy student from his shell. The boy has wonderful musicality and intonation, but definitely needs to open up and play with much more bravado. Watch another talented boy (Nathan Meltzer) who is about the same age playing this Kreisler piece and see the difference.
No comparison really. I think his teacher needs to concentrate on his pitch. It’s all very well playing these technically demanding pieces, but if you can’t hear yourself that you are playing flat then I don’t think you are ready to play the piece. His musicality will hopefully come with maturity.
I believe Amoyal shared some great technical points. However, it is not necessary to humiliate the child, whom is doing a fantastic job, to get the fine points of technique across. The child did an amazing job through the Allegro, an exceptional challenging part to play. He did so consistently well, multiple times in a row. I observed, that Amoyal did not attempt the most challenging bits, in offering of technique through the most challenging sections. Alas, Amoyal, could have been far more constructive and supportive and much less of an egotistical asshole. This pupil has impeccable intonation, rhythm and clarity for his age.
Thank you, there were a lot of intrigues around the boy. He got to this master class as a result of the mistake of the teacher and the school administration. Instead of encouraging, he was reprimanded. His participation in the master class was not provided.
was the woman a translator? Dang, that is a mean teacher. The kid couldn't play 3 lines without the teacher stopping him. he needs to change teachers if the kid wants to have any love for music. Though the teacher was mean, I believe the kid will grow up to be really good. Who is this teacher?
Poor kid cast into a den of so called adults, the teacher posturing for camera close to being taken for a buffoon. The kid needs to be taken away from this if he is to retain any love for music.
What are you even talking about ? He was very careful with his words and he almost never cared for the camera. I found him very inspirational, and I wish I had met a teacher like that as a kid.
Thanks to Pierre Amoyal, the boy got to the master class and understood the true attitude towards himself. Love for music lives in his heart, we went to another school teacher. At this master class our school teacher was not present. A tutor was preparing the boy for the master class.
Amoyal should take lessons himself, both in interpreting this beautiful and challenging work by Kreisler and learning the art of teaching. My God! I'll give him a 6 out of 10 for his nasty attitude. 😒
БРАВО МОЛОДЕЦ
Молодец Федор! Так держать!!! Вперёд к совершенству, у которого как известно нет пределов!!!

Thanks for share this class. Those tips helps anyone that's hear it!
Good first question cause to me the interpretation was a bit “ flat”- that’s why he asked that question - I don’t find him rude - he is right -
Standing posture !!!
when he goes faster he is way better and really feels the music, it's insane
Que talento,que Deus abençoe muito
Thank you!
Pretty damn good.
Wow! Really so amazing!

Thank you for the interesting observation!

Amoyal did make compliments too !

And then there is that 14yo boy who breaks her mom's nose cause she asked him to stop playing video games :))
The child is already very good , so he is in need of a severe teacher. What else Amoyal can do ?
You are right, now we have a great teacher!
very good but some parts are too fast so it sounds bad at these parts
なかなかよかった
He should just say more accents and tell him how to phrase and usage of speed of bow

This is the head of the violin department of Moscow Gnessin school
he was so mean to the poor kid
That "poor" kid was as a robot... He's played this song beautiful but he should play this song as a free.
Do you mean that Jonny guy?
I thought he was very kind and warm and had very insightful and constructive criticism.
That's a good point but at the same time he was slightly on the harsh side
lol

You are absolutely right, Amoyal helped my son a lot in his development

Amoyal himself chose this child for his master class, the boy had another teacher, he did not attend this master class.
うーん?この人教えるの上手いのでは?実際最初より指導受けてからの音のが良くなってるよね?ん?😮
Какая неприятная Беркович...
