This motor is stout. Add a couple turbo fans. I swapped out the esc fan too. 30mm on the motor x2 and 25mm in the esc.
Tip: the front end dips hard while braking. You can hear the body scraping and the tires will rub the inside. Need to stiffen the springs up but also lower the ride height about 6mm to keep it from catching air.
This is an awesome machine I have one prior to this sale and made my own advancements to it. 100 mph is very attainable and the performance of this vehicle is unmatched in my opinion, true Arrma must have a new release or something this year.
Did you use 120a esc or 150a esc?

Hey check the mega infraction I put 6s and only ran it on 6s out the box I chad everything and the center driveshaft is metal carbon fiber front splitter side skirts and rear dams thanks guys great video jay tee

Crazy thing is I have a similar setup but I used the esc out of the Losi Grave Digger because it’s 4s and 130amp and jennyrc sells them for $87.
I pulled a 130a out of a Losi baja rey and still haven't broken 70 mph on 3s 50c 5000
@@chuckbareika5478 run it 4s, you'll crack 70mph easy, and the motor will be just fine. No heat issues

I put a 29t pinion and i get 86 mph on 3s. Could be faster but i need a longer test site.

I also took advantage of the deal. Like many, I'm certain they're about to release an updated version, with Spektrum SMART electronics...and, in all honesty, I could care less, as I don't really like anything 'Spektrum'. First, the servo will be replaced (probably with AFGRC, PowerHD, or ProTek)...then, a few months down the line, out goes the Spektrum ESC & motor, and in goes Castle.
As for my "plans", I'm thinking of setting mine up as a speedrun/basher dual-purpose vehicle. Don't yet know if the idea running through my head is actually a realistic possibility...but, the 'idea' is to have two separate spools - one with a lower-tooth spur for speedruns, the other with a higher-tooth spur for bashing - and swap them (plus adjust the spur/pinion mesh) as needed. 🤙🏼
Do you think spool will work with bashing? I thought slipper supposed to protect the drivetrain?
@@RangeKimTactical That's what I meant. Sometimes, when speaking/typing, I use the two interchangeably, even though I know they're different. But, yes, "spool" for speedrun, and "slipper" for bashing. But, I probably won't even start working on it until late August, at the earliest. Right now, I'm busy working on a couple of Rlaarlo AK-917s.
@@ninthislandrc nice that is a cool build. Do you know if running spool on bashing will be bad for motor? I want to get steel gears for my vendetta but I’m not sure if I should go spool or keep the slipper

Good run. I have actually gotten off rounded grubs but it's easier to just pull them off with a pinion gear puller.
I’m bashing on 6s with a twenty tooth pinion and the stock 3900 kv motor no heat issues imo your good all day on 4s
Did you keep slipper clutch or went spool?
I’m not sure if my eyes are fooling me, but the video makes it look like the road is at a slight up angle coming back at you. If it is then the speed is hampered a bit by that incline. Probably faster than the 83 mph on a straight and level?

Just got a vendetta and threw a new 6s Infraction V2 esc and the high speed pinion and I am topped out at 75 mph on 6s 100c battery 😑 full throttle all day

I was right 80! No doubt, what I win😏💪🏾💯🤣🤣🤣. I ran my big rock on 4s for over a yr w/ no problems... Go so bored I put this same stock 3s motor on 6s & put it in my mega infraction/vendetta build😏😎. That motor is incredible 💯💪🏾... Do ask my about 8s... 🤫🤦🏾🤷🏾♂️

He’s running the 20T pinion still. I hit 88mph with the 26T.

@@JayTeeRC why didn’t you go with 150a spektrum one? Only 120a? I saw earl used 150a for 100mph+. Which one would you recommend for 4s?

I ordered a vendetta on the 12th from tower hobby and still says processing and can't get anyone from tower hobby to respond to my emails anyone else have this issue?
Call Horizon Hobby. You probably won't reach a "live person"...but, the system will give you the option for a callback. The system says a callback will come within 48 hours...mine came in less than 3 hours.
