- Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Do you ever wonder how to draw transparency?
It can be daunting - but if you change your mindset, you will see it is just like drawing anything else: building up a drawing by taking it shape by shape.
This video went pretty fast, I know.
I teach this pencil technique in my online drawing course ‘Just Draw It’, and a lot of other techniques as well!
The course has started just yesterday, so you can still jump in - go to makeawesomeart.com and join the course today!

This one was useful, I am overwhelmed by the variations of light and shadow.

In this case the glass is already transparent so this confuses the issue. How do you draw a solid object( or objects) with transparency?
thanks very good tutorial!
How can you draw see through glasses and sunglasses using a tablet without using pre built "cheating" functions that code in a brush type?
I’m not a tablet drawing expert but in my experience you can draw on a tablet just like you would with pen and paper. Don’t overcomplicate things and Restrain yourself from using the “undo” option.
Great tutorial!
I'm a new patreon member and can't get enough of your videos! It makes me especially happy as I miss the Netherlands so much. You are such a good teacher😊
Thank you so much!

In theory, could this work lets say if it was a katana base? not it being glass but see through. like a strong tough plastic?? would the concept be the same?
