I was so curious about this one, glad to know it's a champion.
That was an honest and thorough review. I have to say Burlington 1819 is a masterpiece and I did not expect it to be this well blended and loud. It's something totally unique and it's really good to be able to be used in hot weather.
There is a saying . Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun . We need something to keep us cool in this mad world 😊
This is my forever fragrance. I got a sample and absolutely fell in love so I just had to have a bottle of it. I love the bright opening with the mint and grapefruit and the gorgeous dry down with the cumin, saffron and rum. I feel like I could wear it everyday and not get tired of it. It's currently my signature scent and it might stay that way forever. Plus with its performance, 3 sprays is enough for me. Really really great perfume ❤

Imagine wearing this gorgeous fragrance and somebody said,” man you smell great!” And you pull your phone out to show them a picture of the bottle and box. Lol I wish it came in a aluminum plain bottle and a brown cardboard box so I can just enjoy the scent. Great video my guy

Great review! Well it reflects my opinion so let me quickly tell you my story behind this: I only came into the scent and fragrance game recently (mid plague crisis). I was shocked by the prices of some fragrances and thought I would never spend that much on a bottle! Well... Then I got the first whiff of Burlington and I am going through that bottle like a madman!
Heard great things about this one before; sounds good. I've yet to experience most Roja's, so far Enigma is my pick

@TLTG Reviews you were right, i ended up blind buying it, and it really is an amazing fragrance. To my nose it is so much better than Elysium parfum pour homme. Such an addictive scent.

Excellent review; cerebral, analytical and yet emotionally engaged and enthusiastic about Burlington 1819. The Burlington Arcade is a must-visit every time I'm in London, where I ricochet between Roja's store, Manholo Blahnik, Lalique and Baudoin & Langue, fighting off dehydration with pit-stops in the Bollinger Bar -rarely, if ever do I emerge empty-handed!!
Like other commentators, I discovered Roja's Burlington via the Discovery Collection but, so blown away was I, that I've just ordered a larger 7.5 sample. The explosive citrus opening is both luscious and heady, acting like an astringent wake-up call. The dry-down embraces you in a warm fug of Woody wonderfulness, too all-encompassing and expertly blended to allow individual components to be identified singly. I feel as though there's a cinnamon, Christmasy undertone but maybe it's the cumin - either way it's a nod to Skandi "Hygge"! I definitely don't experience the sweaty, body-odour type of aroma about which some reviewers complain.
A massive plus for me is the fact that longevity, sillage and projection are good because I had a serious issue with all three when using my bottle of Elysium, which, even had I applied it with a hosepipe, still didn't have the strength to reach as far as my elbows!!
So, double congratulations are in order: the first to Roger for this masterpiece and second to Ross, whose UA-cam review was masterful.
Dr. Nigel H Williams (currently spraying Enigma (Creation-E) twice daily, fearing that I might contract RSI and awaiting the cooler weather with much anticipation!

I finally got to try it today. WOW. This is a jaw dropper. I wish i'd started out with this B 1819, as i was pretty much out of space by the time i found it. I was going in to get an Autumn/Winter/Fall fragrance, so it's not something i was going to buy now. But, yeah i'm Going to get it some day. I got PDM Haltane today. I Love it.
So happy to see you reviewing some real high end scents. Your skills as a scent expert are helpful for consumers like me who enjoy fine fragrances to make a decision that is a luxury buy.

I can appreciate great scents but do not have the nose you have to critique them. Much like a great chef that has a refined palate to make great food. I wish I could develop mine more. Would love if there were some classes to work on this . You and some other people should think about holding Masterclasses to teach others to break down individual notes. Would be a great day course I and others would pay for and have fun as well.
Picked up a 10ml decant today. You nailed the scent profile. This stuff is so deep and complex. Call me crazy but it's like a very upscale and refined version, of Tygar

I think another way to say complexity is ROJA.
This is the level of fragrance where you transition from what know to what you need to understand. Artistic expression.
As you say, not everyone will get it.

Ross wearing a sample today from the Discovery set and its a fantastic scent! I think the herbaceous gives it some real lasting power. My only slight gripe is that the cumin on me at least, gives it a slight body odor tinge during the dry down phase. Lol I don't think it's strong enough to keep me away from a purchase. But you are right the price is high for sure.

Every Roja I've tried, I've considered great creations. I don't enjoy all of them, but the artistry is hard to deny.
So Burlington 1819 is a strong performer, meaning that a 50ml can last a long time. I start rocking my Elysium parfum cologne since early May this yr, guess what its now 70% finished!

After grabbing 3 bottles of the house this month, I guess Burlington will have to wait some time hehe. I agree with you with the caps - said it on my Elysium review. Top notch review! Nailed Burlington 1819 near if not perfect! I got a bottle my self a week after getting a whiff sample of it in store. Its like 3 Roja's in 1 fragrance! ITs amazing!
The longevity is like near MFK - Baccarat Rouge 540 level with the blend of Roja and the smoothness of this fragrance is amazing. To me its like Elysium, Oligarch and Enigma or something on the lines of that in 1 Roja Parfum fragrance.
This is definitely a 9! It caught me with a jab first press. Im in 2hrs with it so far right now.
I have decided I need to refrain from watching you :-) I ordered this today as well. Including Danger, thats two new Roja Dove scents in a day.Yikes! Saks loves me. It appears I would need to be careful with this one in the cockpit. I'll be sure to experiment prior to debuting it to the masses. From your description, I'm thinking it may be comparable (scent wise) to Creed's Milliseme Imperial or Bois Du Portugal, which are faves. I'm looking forward to it.
I am testing Burlington and Isola Blu right now - Burlington seems easier for me, there is no note sticking out. Isola has a citric note sticking out which is not so pleasant for me. I wonder why Isola Blu has so high ratings, maybe it takes more time to appreciate? Burlington seems very easy likeable, love at first spray plus it is a little cheaper.

Dude, I am seriously considering buying this. I have 2ml left of a 4ml sample. I've been looking for other citrus and mint combinations- acqua Celestia didn't smell as natural and was a floral musk.... 1861 Renaissance just didn't smell as natural either.... Burlington 1819 probably has to be it but I have to see if the base is what I can rock because for most of the fragrance that's what you are left with. The opening on this is just incredible. Never smelled a more natural and real citrus. Any better mojito themed frags out there?

to me the dry down smells like a florist shop including all the water in the buckets just beautiful and at creed prices its just alot better on the absolute edge of what i would consider paying for a frag but damn i want this one

@@TLTGReviews I’m insane. I literally just bought 2 Burlington and 1 Oceana 🌊 On Venba Fragrance. They offered a summer 15% code. I can’t live without Burlington. I had no choice but to double up. This will be my first try with Oceana. Since I live in the Palm Springs area which is very hot, I’m hoping this will be great choice.

I wear degree. Stick deodorant doesn't clash with a fragrance

This review was done when I was 37, if that helps. Have to be able to appreciate fine fragrances. It's not an age thing
