also, u can't reboot a wrestling game that's not how it works genius. a new game will already be up to date anyway and every iteration of TNA games are all different in some way TNA Impact!: Cross The Line game by southpeak a port of the console game by midway is a updated version featuring exclusive stars from the 2010's era since the ds version was released in June 29, 2010, while TNA Wrestling Impact! mobile game was release by Namco (the makers of tekken) and tna 08 console game by midway. "graphics" were never an issue with TNA games and also here's the main issue lies, lack of gameplay features, game modes, match types, caw features, knockouts roster, movesets, variety of playable arenas, customization features and more it lacked all of that.
this is what The New TNA game needs to have for it's new game:
face scan features for caws and take a page out of fire pro wrestling when it come to caw features and customization, create a stable, create a ppv, career mode, season mode, bring back bound for glory mode that was from Ds port ( a feature that AEW trash forever copied from for their road to elite mode) have 1000+ wrestling moves, playable legends roster, customizable move sets, playable knockouts roster, main event ppv arenas, classic arenas (2005 - 2009, retro arenas (2002-2004 NWA-TNA asylum era) redemption era arenas (from impact era) and even GFW era arenas, 2300 arena aka ecw arena and more. allow players to choose from the classic 6 sided ring or square circle ring, create an arena, create a manager mode, have an up to date feature that has the same exact outfits that wrestlers are wearing on tv allow it to be downloadable through shoptna mode, add one night only ppv as an online multiplayer mode,
and add these match types: Barbed Wire Massacre, King of the Mountain, Monster’s Ball, Six Sides of Steel, Steel Asylum, Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match, Cuffed in the Cage, Doomsday Chamber of Blood, Electrified Steel Cage, Lethal Lockdown, Queen of the Cage, Xscape Match, Full Metal Mayhem, Match of 10,000 Tacks, Prison Yard Match, Reverse Battle Royal, Battle Royale, Best of 3 Falls, Blindfold Match (Prince of Darkness Match), Bullrope Match, Empty Arena Match, First Blood, Ladder Match, Iron Man, Last Rites Match, No DQ, Pole Matches, Revenge Match, Special Referee, Street Fight, Stretcher Match, Tables Match, Weapons Match, Deadly Draw, Hangman’s Horror, Hard 10, House of Fun, MMA Match & Sadistic Madness. the only available matches that's in this game are the very basic like singles, handicap, Ultimate X, falls count anywhere, falls count anywhere tag, tag team, free for all, and submission, all that was missing in from the original games.
and other features that i would like to see is a customizable main menu (that THQ inc's first SVR game had where u can switch from raw menu to smackdown menu.)
and get Bandani Namco back to do another TNA game with either the midway's game engine or Namco's game engine that they used for their TNA mobile game or even use tekken's game engine with tweaks to do a wrestling game.
at the end of the day it all depends on who gets the license, who's going to developed it and what type of features that it's going to have that's all that really matters.
