Morning, looking forward to this recipe
I wanna try this. It looks super good and THANK YOU Louise for having a clean kitchen I see a lot of channels that are cooking (not that mine is perfect) but nice to see a super clean oven and gadgets!
I will have to try this! I've been doing a big mac salad that is tasty, but your sauce sounds amazing and would be way better than store bought dressing thrown on top! Thank you for all you share with us!
I hope you love it!
The Salted Pepper = tsp 💕 how perfect
I already know it’s good !

Louise, this looks delicious - I like that you used your Ninja cookware as I love mine!
I love it, too!
We are not a big Mac family, but if can do a quarter pounder with cheese it would be great.
maybe leave out the vinegar.
Made this, great!!

Morning, hi there! 👋🏻👋🏻
Love it ❤👍
Thank you!
I'm making this today. Yum!
I hope you enjoyed it!
Interesting.
All I need to do to go low carb is sub keto friendly ketchup and dill pickle relish. Serve on keto buns and call it good.
Thanks!
Sounds Delicious!
that would be so good, I would put on top of lettuce as I am on a diet, but I am pretty sure would be just as good. might have do mozza cheese since less calories than processed.
That's. how Jeff and I usually serve it and it's delicious!
Who (besides Clem) doesn't love a sloppy joe???? Well done!
Thanks!
I have to admit I was skeptical of this recipe. We have tried variations of "cheeseburger" pasta or other "cheeseburger" recipes and as much as we've wanted to like them, we really haven't ever found one we liked. I was looking for something quick and affordable to make for dinner and thought I'd go ahead and give this a try and cross my fingers I wasn't wasting 3 lbs of meat. (We usually double so we can have left-overs for lunches.) Even as I was making this and tasting the sauce, I was surprised how much it tasted like the sauce on a Big Mac, but I was worried it would be overwhelming. Once it was all combined though and finished up - Wow!! It was so rich and tastey! It really does taste like a Big Mac, but not in a way that felt over done like many similar recipes. I am super impressed and excited that I have a new recipe to add to the dinner menu. On the printed recipe, it was recommended to add lettuce and pickles when you serve it. I recommend that. The lettuce adds some nice contrast and the pickles give a little acidity to cut through the rich meat. Thanks for the great recipe that is family and budget friendly!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
This looks wonderful but where is the secret sauce? Or was that mustard and pickle. ?
The secret sauce is the combination of the all the ingredients I add to create the sloppy joe sauce.
Yum! Great recipe Louise!
I have to ask, how are you finding the induction hob?
I really love it! It was a hard decision between this and gas, but it works great!
@@TheSaltedPepper Nice, thanks! yea I went from gas to Induction, although I apparently chose poorly with the brand, it's rubbish,
My mums induction (Bosch, the German brand) is much better, but about double the price.
I wish I'd spent more now haha.
You mentioned that Jeff asked if you weren't going to eat it with a knife and fork. If he likes them that way, do you think that you would have put it on Texas Toast? If you did that, would you have toasted it, or left it soft, so that it would be easier to eat with a knife and fork? I was thinking that the bread would be too soggy and so it would need to be toasted, but I can't remember if the knife and fork sandwiches that are found on some restaurant menus are made with bread or with toast (guess you can tell that's not what I usually order). What do you think about this (aside from it not being the way that a sloppy joe should be eaten - lol)?
I think open faced on Texas toast is a great idea!
When are you going to get your replacement new lower oven?? Melaney from SoCal
They lowered it, that’s as low as it can go and it’s okay. At least I can reach it! 🤣
I love me a good sloppy Joe 😋
Me, too!
Looks delicious but still has to much liquid in it for my liking.
Did you make it and it turned out liquidy? If so, that's weird because it always thickens for me.
I was so afraid that you were going to add Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. I can't stand the stuff. We rarely ate it as a kid. Being Italian, I never tasted Chef Boyardee until I was married. I told my spouse never ever bring canned spaghetti back into the house. That stuff is inedible.
That has way too much liquid in it for me and kids
You'll be surprised how much it thickens up. I thought the same thing at first and was going to alter the recipe, but it thickened so fast I left it alone. It's really delicious!
