Alex Kunda - Zimbabwe

From the ashes of Musi-O-Tunya, Alex Kunda released the album "Kingdom of Heaven" in 1976/77 with the help of his good friend, Chris Mbewe (the lead guitarist of Witch). Throughout the album, Kunda kicks out an interesting mix of traditional styles and psychedelic rock, and unlike most of the well known zamrock records, it actually sounds Zambian. Featured here is the track "Zimbabwe", which, of course, includes some killer fuzz guitar courtesy of Mbewe.
