What it do Dream Team!? It's ya boy D.Neal back with another reaction video! I don't see myself getting off of this Toby Keith train anytime soon this guy is definitely one of the best country artists because his music and themes are all so different and very entertaining! I definitely know a little bit about the red solo cup back from my partying days. But all of the creative things that they can do with Red Solo Cups is absolutely incredible. They definitely went all out for this video and I must say that I definitely enjoyed every minute of it make sure you guys get some Red Solo Cups! This song was written to win a bet. Toby Keith and a couple of his friends were talking one day and the subject of songwriting came up. One of his friends said that Toby Keith ccould write a hit song about anything. The other guy said I bet he can't then he pointed to a red solo cup sitting on the table and he said I bet you can't make a song out of that, and the rest as they say is history.
Really I didn't know that.
And didn't the Solo company want to press charges because he didn't have their permission but then the sales made them shut-up?
I don't know how that rumor got started but unlike most of his songs, Toby did not write this. Two sets of brothers did. The Warren Brothers and Beaver Brothers . All of them are in this video.

Here's one I have not heard reviewed . Artist George Jones did a song titled, "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?" He named several great artists, but he passd before Toby, or I am sure he would have been included. It really fits.

Sure enough, here's the product of that dare. Now apparently, Toby was out of the country, doing a USO tour and on his return found out that the song Red Solo Cup had gone to #1 on the country charts, to his utter surprise. Well done Toby. :) BTW, at every concert (and the one we went to) served drinks in Red cups only and here's a live performance of it. The crowd goes nuts when he sings this song. I just have to say as silly and fun as this song is, I can't agree with the message of "Use disposable cups because you're too lazy to wash a dish!" I get it for things like parties and big get-togethers where you don't want to have to do a million dishes, BUT it's horrible to say "Yeah don't use glass, why would you use those!? Red solo cups you can just throw away when you're done!" The planet has enough plastic waste and pollution, I don't think it should be condoned or encouraged. If you're going to use them please take care of trash and recycling, thanks! My comment is to anyone reading it, not directed just to Neal.

I am glad your reacting to some more Toby Keith. This one is a funny song toby was quoted saying it was the stupidest song I ever heard but it made it to #9 on the top country hits on billboard in 2011-2012. But you missed the dude in the red shirt @ 4:40 in the video he pisses in a cup then gives it to his buddy in a grey shirt to drink. He is a "real" friend isn't he. On passing out at parties... I don't do parties much, anymore, (I got old and boring, I guess) but back in the day, I was able to successfully avoid getting drawn on after passing out. Apparently, I knew when it was pass out time, because I would always wake up, hidden in some random spot. I slept in some wretched places, but I was still able to reappear, integregity intact, and free of penis's, glasses, and random obscenities, sharpied onto my face.
More often than not, though, I was the last man standing, at any given party.
