That was really nice of Tony Stark to teach this program to us.
He became a powerlifting coach last night.
I’m still able to train, I’m just here to hear the wisdom Sean puts out
This mans content is going through the roof! Love it Papi!
Sean: You should want to know the truth
Lifters: I can't handle the truth!
This is actually such a fucking nice thing to do, big props to Sean putting this out for free
Very bold of you to assume I was lifting heavy weights in the first place
I've always kind of ran into issues you talked about when coming back from a 1-2 week vacation when I didn't keep up with training. This seems like a good, logical approach that's not too passive and not too aggressive...I'll give this a go whenever I can go back to training next month.
I can't hate because this is a very informative and helpful video for tons of people....nonetheless, WHERE IS THAT ARCH VIDEO??? xD
Sean,
Real talk my brother. I only really follow you and Russ in terms of lifters at this point. You guys are true inspirations. However, lately I haven’t been able to get into the “other guys” stuff since it’s not relatable. Your information and office hours like this keep me from going insane over here. Not many guys have your intelligence and communication skills. Not kissing ass bro because it’s not in my nature. Just patting you on the back and telling you to keep doing what your doing. It’s been a long time since I craved a video from someone or clicked on something immediately no matter what I got going on. Keep it 100 brother and keep growing. Respect ✊
A wealth of information. Thank you!
Thank you for this. I’m definitely gonna take this approach. Your the man Sean
honestly the best video series on youtube rn
Quality sir!
This was a great video. I am a person that recently started training last week after about 5 months , this information is something that I can apply to help me not under or over shot in my training.
Thank you. This is really helpful. The channel is pure gold.
Mannn... You are amazing ❣️
Thanks a lot for ton of information 🙏
candito brought me here
😎
Yo Sean this video was perfect! Great timing too I’ll definitely be doing this
Sean is brilliant! Thank you for this.
thank you sensei
This channel deserves way more subs 🤦🏾♂️
Thank you for this!
Great content Sean, really appreciate the honesty and the effective approach to return to normal training. Just wanted to ask, if someone Squatted 3x a week prior to the quarantine, how would you program that 3rd day for Weeks 1-4?
The program behind me is not my recommendation for rep schemes, frequency or weekly volume. It was merely an example to detail the underlying philosophy. Each week establishes a new E1RM, and each day starts with a gauge set at a %age that would fall around your target RPE for the day. If it matches, you’re good to continue. If it doesn’t, you auto-regulate up (or maybe down), but now you’re in the ballpark to make a well-informed jump to your desired intensity/RPE. This way the margin for error is smaller and you get the most out of your training during a time where your 1RM is more volatile relative to when you’re trained.
You're amazing mr. Stark
Great video
This is great content BTW love it
Can you make a video about powerlifting during Ramadan? Like best time to train at? Will you lose strength/ progress and not be able to make any progress? Please this would be much appreciated Sean
I can make this happen
Sean Noriega yes thank you!!!!
Sean Noriega letsss gooo thank u bro 🙏🏼
Love the title!
I’ll try your 4 week program coming back
hey Sean when u say continue doing it if ur making progress do u mean restarting it or just adjusting the % every week
Sorry if I missed this, but are the backdown percentages based on the single you hit for the day or your estimated max from the single?
Great contect Sean thank you. I ll ask you that how will we adjust the 3rd day because there is only bench on that day
Are the percentages for the back downs based on the single of the day? Or just what you guess your max would be based on it ?
I like the approach but , for example in week 1 would every workout be an sbd day ? Or how would each workout be arranged?
I never said that. Day 1 is SBD. Every successive day you decide the split that makes the most sense given your frequency and schedule .
Sean is your depiction of the muscle & strength a good basis of how the book is? Sorry to ask u this but it would be great to have a grasp of what the book is about since reading it is kinda very far to me considering how much dollars costs compared to BRL lol! Is unfortunate because I love Eric(: Thx for the content bro very very dope, take care!
I bought and read the book over christmas last year, I 100% recommend it. Super fun and easy read with lots of great information. Get the nutrition one as well! Quarantine is the perfect time to start reading.
Excellent👍
So this is a four day split?
So would you advise that these bench 1,2,3 days however many we choose to do, be all comp bench or should there be a variation in there on one day.
As I mentioned: Competition lift frequency should match what historically has been sustainable.
Since i deadlift only once a week, after the first week of testing those maxes can i go back to variations on the second week? e.g. week 1 comp dl, week 2 pause dl
You just said you only deadlift once a week. If you pause deadlift on a second day, you deadlift twice a week.
Papi where’s the arch video???
Where is the arch vid papi
Disagree with the language used 'a lot weaker' smoked my intercostals and lost no more than 5%
is everything the same if its 2 months cuz it doesnt look like pandemic is ending until 1 more month minimum
Did you watch the video?
Sean I will take care of this moron! JEFF KHA WATCH THE FUCKING VIDEO YOU FUCKING TWAT!!!
@@KremeOnHer lol oops i typed right after i clicked on the video
This is for the lifter who has clearly been out long enough that coming back will require reacclimation to training altogether
Jeff Kha no worries brother it’s all love! All this built up rage from not lifting has me ready to snap!
🔓🔑💯🔥
Where's the bench video homie
Damn. So unappreciative
Facts... this shit shouldn’t be free
Notification gang
I think I know from whom you heard the issue you were saying at the start re doing variations. And if I'm correct you should also know that those people aren't really competitive powerlifters. 😅 And if I'm wrong, well, just so you know, I actually agree with you. Thanks for this information, Sean! Stay strong 💪💪
Would that have been on a 4-way spilt screen?
Tai Lopez...is that you?
You look like my 40 year old uncle.

-have a huge ego arch in your bench so you feel that you actually benched it and you won’t think you lost any strength being off that long!!
