I am also Bulgarian and I also havne't heard of Nikolai Radev, but such people existed also in Bulgaria during the 90s'. You also do not make mistake, he and the people like him have been product of the communist regime back then, most of them created in USSR according their school and mentality! Also it is not normal for a commoner to have been allowed to travel not to mention living abroad during the 80s' - so he must have had his protection deep with the communist regime!
