  • Chaos at the start. Made up a few positions then span out going too wide on the second hairpin Lap3! Big crash causing the race to stop.

This is sportsmanship... that guy could of easily of not helped you out but did. That’s a true man right there!

After you did that to him, your main concern is getting back in the race?

Probably should stay where you are if you're facing the wrong way and a bunch of karts are coming

Yeah and why should be this a red flag when the other driver could run, its one a red flag if somebody is hard hurt or there are too many karts on the track in an acident

Clearly you two know naff all. The best policy is to stick where you are BUT there's every now and then where you need to move yourself away from danger. That comes from experience, telling people your blanket response is the correct course of action come what may to this is foolish.
As for Jannik, where do you officiate? i have many friends who are senior officials and marshals. Or are you an armchair official, delusional in the belief you can spew your shite with little to no comeback? I would suggest you leave what they do best to them and as for your esteemed opinions please spare us... I've seen it myself many a time, guy gets up, runs around, collapses. Just because someone runs about and goes as far as pushing someone off doesn't mean they're not hurt, that's the adrenaline doing its thing. Of course your naivetee makes me come to the observation you won't know this.

This pisses me off. I raced go karts for 5 years at a very high level by the way. IF YOU ARE STOPPED ON THR TRACK STAY WHERE U ARE ITS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS.

You did that and he gave you a push. Wow! I’d have been furious.
Still, thanks for posting this, I used to love racing at Rowrah!

Well both Steven and Jimbo needs to stay the fuck away from circuits then. Don't need anymore needlessly angry mechanics/drivers. So the guy who crashed into the stationary kart was unsighted, added to the fact anyone in their right mind could see the 2 karts that went to our left was drifting towards the foot or so's space the camera kart drove away from, i really struggle to see how you can blame anything on this guy... And that's coming from someone who believes the term "racing incident" is an overly used get out clause.

This type of sportsmanship seems to have disappeared in sports but glad to see it's not gone.

I made exactly the same mistake in F100 a few years ago, except I didn’t end up facing backwards on the track. It can be easy to run wide there if you’re too eager on the throttle. Exit speed is so important down that straight or you will be mugged into the chicane.
