i know this is a bit late but i just came across this now and I totally agree. Maybe the other judges saw something in her voice and it can be improved but her attitude is just too much. I admit the second time was better and her passion and persistence would have also been a reason why Simon said yes BUT i felt bad for the other contestants who didn't get a second chance... she didn't do well on the first and was already rejected, her time is done. i know this is a bit late but i just came across this now and I totally agree. Maybe the other judges saw something in her voice and it can be improved but her attitude is just too much. She doesn't take no for an answer. I admit the second time was better and her passion and persistence would have also been a reason why Simon said yes BUT i felt bad for the other contestants who didn't get a second chance... she didn't do well on the first and was already rejected, her time is done. I was so dissapointed with Simon... he already said no, i think its just unfair for the others.
I agree, she came across slightly entitled and desperate for them to like her. And her over exaggerated hand gestures didn't help either. I can imagine her having a meltdown if someone disagreed with her or she didn't get her way. Her voice was intense with no light and shade, a whole album of that and I'd be looking for a bridge.

Allyson W It might be her range, but her range is very small, which is a no-no for a star. What bothered me most was the weird operatic thing she did with her vowels. She'll need to learn belting (not as bad as it sounds, basically moving your vowels forward so you sound less choral) if she wants to be successful on anything but the classical station.
