- Hi everyone, hope you get something useful out of this tutorial - it didn’t start out as something I wanted to cover in Cinema4D, but lots of people asked about it so I thought it would be worth to cover here. The recording was done a few weeks after I made the original project, so I hope I did it justice and made everything clear. If I didn’t feel free to leave questions below and I’ll answer them.
Any advice on how to make these videos better or the kind of topics/projects you’d like to see make sure you contact me about it.

Great video Jack. Apologies if it's already been pointed out, but a fast way to inherit the accurate coordinates for the spherical field onto your geometry sphere, is simply to nest it under the SF and zero out the xyz coordinates.
good note, cheers mate!

Wondering how to go about doing this with Octane?
Haven't tried it, but Octane has a similar function for ignoring lights - for the emissive material I believe dirt would be your best best. Let me know how it goes!
