Your Garon bag with the dogs is so cute. And the bunnies!! Because anything with bunnies is great. Lol. Your Ciro fox piece is gorgeous. I love the colors. His artwork is amazing. HAED has made a mess of this SAL. It was poor decision making to use AI. Why didn't they just give the whole pattern to the people stititching the artist's piece of the person leaving? Also, why are so many leaving? I don't know anything about this. Sheena Pike is leaving for the 2nd time, I think, also. ???? I am stitching an Artecy and Paine Free Craft design right now, both of which, I love. I have purchased several HAED pieces that I am planning to start so I have no idea what the problem is. Esmira is looking so good. I am sure you will have it done this year. Those bees are scary. They seem very agitated. Not good, so stay inside. I agree garon bags are so cute. I had to go on the site a second time and get the doggie one and the bunnie one. Boy have I brought allot of bags. 😂 but love them all. It is like patterns. You have to have them all. Makes you wonder 💭 is Haed really difficult 😞 to deal with. At least the last time Sheena Pike left it was during a sale. I think the only Artecy pattern I have is God shed his grace. There was another pattern I liked but I didn’t like the mock up as I felt it was too small. I know never thought I would say that. 😂🤣. Yes Archer by Esmira will be done this year. So long as I don’t get bogged down on the bulk stitching. I hate bulk stitching. Only thing I could think of was either the queen had died or the bee keeper had changed the box. And with the wind they were pushed down our direction and was taking too much effort to get back to the queen. As there is bees around and I’m so allergic no I’m staying inside and Coco is having to deal with the door being closed. My shoulder, I don’t think he can do much but we will see. I'm right there with you with HAED! I think I'll probably finish the SAL, get the 2 free charts and then be done with financially supporting them. If you look at some of their charting recently too it's just been abysmal. I don't like the direction they're going AT ALL.

I have several HAEDS through the years especially the mermaids, Josephine Wall and Scott Gustafson., not sure if I will buy anymore. We are so lucky that Rose Khan and several of the other artists went with Paine free crafts. I was looking at my charts in my stash of what year they were produced. lol. I haven’t got any of Josephine Wall patterns. I do have Addies Window by Scott Gustafson. We still have a few more cows 🐄 to calve this autumn. 🍂. There are farms that winter milk. Therefore you have calves at this time of year. We just aren’t used to it as normally we would be too busy milking to have calves. It has all changed with retiring. Dave is just as busy. He doesn’t know how to have a day off. I hope you have a better spring than we had. Ours was very cold this year. We haven’t had the best summer 🌺 to be honest. I agree with your logic for the NZ flag, and I'm going to do that too! But, do you think the dimensions of the flag are slightly off? I think it needs another 2 rows down. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Great progress on your other projects. 😊
For the dimensions. You think the red star is too close to the bottom of the flag on the right hand side is that what you mean by dimensions. No I think it is correct. It depends on what image you look at of the New Zealand 🇳🇿 flag. If you square it all up. It is just because it has those missing triangles. . You know the 4 stitches top bottom and sides. I’m not doing them. I like Jessica’s idea 💡 of filling in the flag with triangle shapes at the end so it becomes a rectangle and flag shaped. I will just pick patterns out of the piece or buy another vivsters pattern for the full in triangles. Tania logic again. I hope you can picture what I mean. So it becomes a big rectangle flag. At least Haed does stipulate if a pattern is a AI pattern or not. Not all companies do that. But yes I agree Haed said they weren’t going to do AI patterns then the next minute they remove all those artists and start doing AI. I have only stitched one HAED so far and was not highly impressed. I have noticed HAED is bad for not having accurate mockups all the time. Other sites are bad for that too they just give what the original artwork looks like. I think in the future i am going to be reluctant to purchase patterns without mockups of stitching. I know mockups aren't the same as stitched samples but they give you a better idea of what it will look like often than the artwork alone. Many HAED patterns look amazing when you see people stitch them but not all of them do and how do you ever know which you are purchasing with the examples given. I have been disappointed numerous times with full coverage purchases that when loaded into a program and a mockup is generated just don't look great. As to AI art it will definitely change the landscape of digital art.

Totally agree with you about HAED, surely she had everyone sign a.'contract' and shes not keeping her side of it! People should speak with their feet and walk away, even if its only for six months. It sounds like shes getting too big for her boots😡. There are more companies out there that do stunning charts, and the more charts they sell the more the original artists would go to them. I think she might be shocked over the outrage the flosstube community is showing. At first it might have gone to her head the support she was getting from the flosstube community for the haed sal. But that has all turned around. There is allot of flosstubers that don’t like AI art till there is laws about it. I agree about lots of companies but there is also allot of companies that do AI Art so she isn’t the only one. 😂🤣. It is buyer beware.My shoulder I had a couple of weeks it was slightly better but it is back to how it was as soon. As I had my infusion. I can’t get another injection in it for another 2 months.
