Nintendo switch blocked! See the description on how to restart it

Yesterday my son's nintendo switch became frozen. nothing was working to make the buzzing noise turn off. I pressed every button, and nothing. Until I decided to press and hold for 10 seconds the on/off button, and it worked. The nintendo restarted and every saved game was SAVED.
