I love when game developers actually get creative with social commentary instead of bashing you over the head with it. Perhaps it's just my love of where this is going, or perhaps it's because there were exactly 666 likes before I clicked the button, but I really do want to see more of this - and I'm glad to see a rise in creativity once again over the usual overdone horror tropes that have been working their way back into recent games. Also, am I the only one who saw flecks of red on the door handles for that room that was being guarded around 18 minutes in?
Dude I think you are Jacob Whitley, the Partner, and Chief Innovation officer. It says he was the artistic and creative in the company while Blake was the "Overlord" so to speak. I bet Blake tried a power grab, however without Whitley the company wouldn't have new innovations, to keep it alive, so had him mind-wiped instead of completely removed. This all happened just as Whitley discovered the new "Blue" tone. Hence your last name being Blue. Hell I don't know if this matches up completely but it sounds nice I guess.
I love the world building, the mystery, and the on point workplace satire. As I was watching I kept thinking about how dystopian some of the stuff was, then I remembered my company only allows 10 minutes of break throughout the day and if we heard they were planning to make it fifteen we'd probably say some shit like that.
I headed up a team for a very large company, and there are many people who just let the "Corporate Culture" overwrite any personality they may have had. Like work is the only thing they could think about or talk about. You ask them about their family or if they are married, and they sidestep the question and start rambling about Corporate talking points. It really can be unnerving to see some people to sell their soul to the Corporation.
This _game_ is a tone. 😶😆 A dystopian office theme--☑ A monochromatic world to put to rights--☑ A mystery to solve--☑ A threat to avoid--☑ Absorbing! I also love the way Chris animates his characters. He makes Theo intensely observant and paranoid (e.g., his time in the elevator 19:30--20:04). He does some version of this in every game and it always makes me giggle. I can't wait for Chapter 2! Plus, I'm gonna go ahead and jump on the hair train. Looking good, Chris! 😊

This is pretty exceptional. Orwell meets Mad Men haha. That chase section was both hilarious and kind of terrifying. Very well put together and pretty unique. Love to see more.
Great video and a really cool game. Worth noting that black is the absence of light, while white is all colors at once, and Mr. Blake has seemingly taken over and done away with Mr. Whitley.
This is DEFINITELY a play on Jeff Bezos/Amazon, with the “started in his garage” & the minuscule time keeping of employee work & breaks his company is so famous for lol. I love it.
Thank you for playing this Chris, it's the reason I like these indie horror games so much; there are sometimes things shown in a very creative way that broaden the concepts of the paradigms we reside in to the extent that it may be possible to break through the current one and move onto a better, more vibrant one imho. Btw, the movie Brazil is great indeed and so is the backstory on how it all came to be.
This one could be an interesting watch! I think a lot of people can relate to the dystopian office space, and apparently the creator of this game has some previous experience with it also from the looks of it (down to the mandatory 5-item corpo policy etc.). Definitely play Chapter 2! :D

Very interesting and surprissingly creepy game since it is in black and white, that does not make it easier. Very fun story so far as well. The suites falling and jumping in chase after you are great, funny and crazy messed up at same time. Wonder how other chapters shall be. Look forward to more.

The introductory "video" at the beginning is the nightmare. And also illegal in my country (even though the office vibe is entirely accurate). Lol! No one would work there. The B&W in the puzzle was the third iteration of the logo. That's why 3 was the correct answer and not 4. This was a very odd, but quite fun, and intriguing, game. Very much want to see more og this.
