Quick question if you could… on the right turn at 32:10- as there is two possible roads you could turn into would you be expected to signal left as you turn into the first road or would you just keep your right signal on?
There is more than 1 test route through Cottam, remember the examiners don't have to stick to set test routes, as long as they include all the required parts as laid down in form D1
I read a comment you made on one of your other videos. You said that they can choose different routes depending on time of day. right? so, may i ask what is the most likely route in preston at around 07:10? great vid as always :)
There isn't one.. At Preston there can be as many as 5 different examiners going out at one time. so thats 5 different routes Also in order to pass your test you have to show that you are able to deal with anything that comes up. JUst as you wouldn't expect to know in advance the exact questions in an exam, I can't tell you the exact sequence of roads on your test. The purpose of these videos is to show you typical examples of the roads your going to be tested on
I learned something at 10:24
Thanks
Many thanks for this video,I watched it more than 3 times today Xx
Quick question please. At 37:44, shouldn’t you have stayed on the left lane rather than the right lane, since you’re going ahead?
Sorry I don't know what you mean. At 37 44 you can't go straight ahead
@@daveleggdrivertraining True. I just saw that it’s past 12 O’clock hence why you kept to the right

No the right signal is sufficient, just remember to cancel it at the right time
In dependent driving if we missed the the correct lane will it be major fault ?
If you find yourself in the wrong lane go the way of the lane your in. Don't try to correct it. The examiner or sat nav will get you back on route
@@daveleggdrivertraining thanks for your reply , my first test is tomorrow and i am very nervous.
Do you have vid with parallel park forward or reverse bay park ?
These videos are all driving test videos but parallel parking is on Preston driving test route 2
Is it okay to overtake a slow moving vehicle on the driving test if the road ahead is clear
Yes as long as it is done safely and legally
@Dave Legg Driver Training thank you
is there anyway we can find directions on the different test routes?
Sorry no, they don't publish test routes
did this person fail for the reversing manoeuvre?
No because they corrected themselves, they showed the examiner they knew how to do the maneuver
what is this cottam test route?
