one of these days you will forget to save your game and cry longer than your longest build
Really cool but music made me laugh, you really should consider something else for these videos imo :) But yea I also look forward to see more stuff from you, I subscribed
That was really cool, but I think 4d is too difficult to process what's happening..
It would be awesome to see some combination with evolution sims where energy costs/rewards are implemented and the cells are able to express more function and similarities to real cells
Well that’s harder to do as differentiating life and well not life is hard. If we had it function how it did in real life, it would probably be way to complex and need WAY too many particles… Oh and, if the cells do duplicate sufficiently, evolution will be simulated. Some of the duplicates will be formed slightly differently and thus, some will end up duplicating more while some duplicate less.
Looks a little like a mushrom trip.
if you think so, then you need to increase your dosage
@@guruware8612yeah if you take a better amount you won’t just be seeing 4d objects in simulations…
How powerful is your computer to process that?
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and GTX 1660 Ti, not on the high end but defenetly not on the low end
Oh
hi, im trying to build something like this on my on. I'm doing this with OpenGL so handling with VAOs and shit like that. I'm selftaught, so I do not have any experience on how to do it better, or even if OpenGL is capable of building something like yours. Did you work with an engine, or build something from scratch?
Sorry for that english, it's not my native language, but I hope, the point is clear.
I dont know openGL, unity uses it somehow but I am not sure how. I used unity and its integration with compute shaders.
I can send you code if you want: discord.gg/zCueGe2J
thanks youtube for tossing this in my recommendations
ima sub i think
Brilliant 👏
sick! I was about to do the 3d version of particle life only to encounter another person that has done this already! sick!
why using the most annoying music one can find ?
couldnt this all be done with a shader since all the forces are applied via a matrix? idk
it is done via shader
Looks like you have some numerical instability with your simulation. I would try tweaking your time step.
my what?, defenetly not frame dependent
Did you use raymarching
For the point renderer no, I just blit circles with a depth map, but for the IntensityField renderer (added later not in the vid), I use volumetric raymarching with a-blending
@@tucan7112Oh, ok interessting. Btw amazing work.
Didn’t expect to find an absolute banger on a video like this 😂
Song name?
its in the desription, "Angels Athem"
How would this kind of life behave in 5 dimensions?🤔 I guess It would create "ghost life", in a way some particles could exist like ghosts, appear and disappear from nothing, and influence the 3d universe without been noticed. Basically: "Gods and Ghosts"
you would use a 5D camero to get 4D image, then 4D camera on that to get 3D image, and that 3D camera to get output on your monitor.
@@tucan7112 Time is the 4th dimension.
its not and I am too tired to explain@@josesantos2603
@@tucan7112 According to Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan?😅
thats physics when you apply it to our world, but it does not mean that time is 4th dimension only that in our universe time is represented by the 4th dimension, here I am using 4 spacial dimensions + time, so in this case time would be the 5th dimension @@josesantos2603
One of milion reasons why in 4d world doesn't,t need LSD
Is that poop
Null 0, crawl points.
Extract, Transform, Load
Enumerated radius, spin up spin down
Not the most pleasant music choice.
