    Great video. Changed my front rotors and brake pads today on my 2006 CLS500. Switched to cross drilled slotted rotors. Took my time. About 4 hours. Saved myself at least $450.00. Looks great! Thanks.

      Thank you for your feedback ! Unfortunately, each car requires particular replacement and everything depends on a technical condition of car parts units. Our new videos will show such replacements in more details and we will describe in more details. Best regards, Autodoc.

    Thanks a lot for your video! A friend told me how to do it, but he was wrong... I ended up spilling brake fluid everywhere and having to get a refill. Thanks to you guys I know how to do it :) Plus, you had the cheapest brake pads and shipping was really good)

    Very good video. Perhaps for smiles and giggles it would be neat to see the lugs torqued to spec and a little caption annotating the torque spec.

      To drift out the pins in the brakes, we have used the usual thin flat screwdriver.

    Hello , I've 2008 Mercedes S 500 L V8 petrol engine . I want to now is it same procedure on my car ?! The same steps ! And I noticed that you didn't opened the brake reservoir cap !

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  7 років тому

      Thank you for the feedback! The procedure is similar, but it will have some distinctions due to the difference of the power unit fitted to your car. The steps are the same, you can follow them schematically. It's not necessary to remove the brake fluid reservoir cap, the covers equipped with the valve which releases the accumulative excess pressure. Best regards, Autodoc.

    I would add on step. Use a quality brake cleaner to remove the film on the new rotor. Leaving the film the factory puts on can damage the new rotor and pads.
