It's interesting to see Woody & Taylor get annoyed with the constant jokes and stereotypes of America. It was only 5 minutes later when you made a joke about France haha. And you've probably made fun of someone commenting, saying they were offended or didn't appreciate your joke about their country. You'd just laugh that off and 'Double Down' yet here you are expressing your concerns about the way people to do it to your country. Maybe you can now empathize with those commenters who expressed their concern the exact way you did. When it comes down to it, the big difference is we live in different countries. So the only perception people get is the stereotypes and the media exaggerating. So I think people need to calm down and take it as a joke instead of being offended when people do it to your country but then think it's ok to do the exact same thing to other countries. :)
+TheRplevin I think they were referring to a more specific kind of mockery/hate of america that is more present among even Americans than hate towards other countries.
+TheRplevin the difference is that not only is America the most ripped on country by other countries but now all the annoying hipsters here are doing it now. people wear " 'Merica" shirts and shout 'Murica! constantly and make other jokes about the US like fat etc... as you might imagine it does get annoying not only cuz i live in America and quite like it but its the same tired jokes over and over and over. "amerifats" "MURICA" we all know the generic america jokes. so its not the americans cant take jokes its just that theres such a large volume of jokes targeted at america that it eventually gets annoying.
Am I the only one who is enjoying the new "No Guest" thing? Don't get me wrong sometimes they're great. However its a nice change of pace to just have the guys also.
have you guys tried recording the pre show talk and listening back to it before the actual show just to check the audio levels? Maybe make sure that call has the same host? i don't know anything about this so these are obviously blind suggestions.
+Eyespelegud agreed. Taylor was at a decent level, Woody was quiet and Kyle was really loud. I am physically adjusting the audio levels depending on who is speaking, maybe I have sensitive ears, but yeah.
Great episode overall! Really glad to be a patron again after a few months of not, it really is an amazing deal. Just wanted to note what is already being said, the audio levels were pretty off; Kyle is super loud and Woody is really quiet. It's the first time in a long time that there has been an issue, so I just wanted to bring it up. Love the show guys!
Everything falls at the same rate in a vacuum so chiz would not fall faster but he would fall harder. He would have more momentum because momentum is mass multiplied by velocity and chiz is more massive.
Last patreon month for a while. Thanks to PKA for letting me support the show, and get som benefits. Im coming back as a patreon asap! Been a 25 dollar patreon for thre months, i really recommend the 25 dollar selection if you can afford it.
Okay, I'm going to be "That guy", I'm a physics major, and this is entry level stuff. Force = mass x acceleration, now, the force from gravity is (G x m1 x m2)/r^2, where G is the universal gravitational constant, m1 we will assume is the earths mass, m2 is the falling mass, and r is the radius between the center of gravity of the two masses. Since G and m1 are constant, and r stays relatively the same (Since the center of mass of the earth is in the centerish of the earth, and a 10 foot distance doesn't make a large change when talking approximately about the radius of the earth) so we will call that constant as well. So, simplified, we can call those three "constants" Ge, or Gravitational constant of earth. on the surface of earth. So, F= Ge x m2, and F = m2 x a, so to find the acceleration due to gravity, Ge x m2 = m2 x a, where m2 cancel out, leading to Ge = a, and after actually plugging in all of these constants, you get 9.81 meters per second squared. One implication of this is that gravity does actually affect more massive objects to a greater degree, but it takes proportionally more force to actually get that object to move. Now, since Position versus time is what is in question, the first derivative is velocity versus time, and the second derivative is acceleration over time, and acceleration is constant, you can begin to integrate. First though, initial conditions. Lets say you drop something from 2 meters above the ground from rest, or approximately what happens when you drop something from just over head height. Since the object is going to go down, because gravity, let's fix our signs to our reference, and call it -9.81m/s^2, rather than 9.81m/s^2. So, in the case of all objects in an atmosphere, there is resistance to movement from drag, but for many objects, that force is negligible, in the case of a feather or piece of paper, where drag provides a comparable force upwards, resisting the force downwards from gravity. Since for most everyday objects, drag is such a small factor compared to it's mass, it is safe to ignore drag, therefore the only force is gravity, providing a constant acceleration of -9.81 m/s^2. Now, we integrate, so -9.81t + (Initial velocity), where initial velocity is zero, so Velocity over time is -9.81t, so we integrate again, so we can get a function of position versus time, so -4.9(t^2)+ (Initial position) so 2 - 4.9t^2. So. Physics. Yeah. I'll leave quietly now.
Woody, as a fellow Engineer I'm ashamed that you didn't know that acceleration due to gravity is the same for everything with the absence of air resistance!
+Alex Lesher So absolutely unnecessary. Just leave him be, but okay, if you have to show us all you're smarter than Woody to feel a little cooler then that's fine.
You mean the "apprentice accountant" that can't multiply by ten to save his life? Shocking. Fortunately his firm grasp of politics carries him through the tough conversations...

I had a PKA Adventures Idea. Do the same type of thing in the woods, but go to that first spot you found close to the car that was too nice, bring big tents, a generator, a bunch of food, dry ice and fans and everything you can bring and just have a 4 day kick-back.
If it's possible please please re-upload this with fixed audio. It's really hard to listen to this one. Woody is too quiet and Kyle blows my speakers out.
I'm from the UK and I must say I'm enjoying the US Political talk, it's nice to know our government isn't the only one riddled with corruption and backdoor deals
Like like like like, fake story, like like like like ,fake story with cousin, like like like like like, gun talk, like like like like like, fake story. - Kyle's PKA contribution
It'd be interesting if they started including really small UA-camrs as guests, even if its only when they can't get another guest. It'd be amazing if you guys helped smaller channels gain some traction. That'd be great. Or maybe its just a dream of mine to be on PKA, either one.
+AmazinglyEpicVideos the problem with small youtubers is that none of them have any good equipment it would be a step back and as the last guy said they would be shy.
If you are wondering where PKA is, it is still being uploaded. This is a post from Woody this morning on the PKA subreddit. "It's not a 24 hour show. I'd like to do that at some point but it wasn't the plan for 250. I think you guys will like the guest. My internet, not power, went out about 2 1/2 hours into the show. I think overall it was a good thing. We hit the second half of the show with more energy than we would have otherwise. We got a bit of a late start on Thursday after working through Murka's tech issues from his Windows 10 upgrade. Overall I think the show went pretty well. There a bit more planning that went into it than normal and it worked out pretty well. Bonus, with the "day 2 reset" Kyle was able to set up outside and use his flame thrower. :) Because I had to render the two parts of the show together it was a big file (22gb). I kicked off the upload hours ago but it's not going to be ready until this afternoon. Not much I can do about it, we're all just waiting on the upload." - Woody
I'm really enjoying just the 3 hosts those are the best in my opinion of course brings on guests just maybe once a month or so do it with just you 3 guys love where the show is going nothin but up
"meundies meundie no more sweaty balls oh yeah! meundies meundies no more sweaty clams oh yesh! " dude please get Bill Burr on this podcast. he could give taylor tips on comedy and it would be great!

Does anyone notice that Kyle is the loudest, and Woodys mic is kinda low
Future person here 6 years later... Woody still can't get audio straight.
Woah did you notice too??
I remember noticing this 8 years ago and complaining about it. Glad I wasn’t alone. The audio has improved a lot since then

Every country jokes about America, why's it so bad that we joke about other countries?
They were talking about Americans talking shit about America.
+TheRplevin I think they were referring to a more specific kind of mockery/hate of america that is more present among even Americans than hate towards other countries.
basically ireland?
+TheRplevin the difference is that not only is America the most ripped on country by other countries but now all the annoying hipsters here are doing it now. people wear " 'Merica" shirts and shout 'Murica! constantly and make other jokes about the US like fat etc... as you might imagine it does get annoying not only cuz i live in America and quite like it but its the same tired jokes over and over and over. Kyles mic sucked this episode.
It sounds like a PKA from when they were in the double digits.
😂😂😂😭😂😭
Woody, turn up your damn mic volume...
lol, everyone asks that xD its a baby with a pancake on its head :)
1:30:03 Kyle foreshadows his massive gains with Derek before knowing how quite how well he would do
Louie's stand up is basically for dads. His FX show was hilarious though. A melancholy version of Seinfeld if you ask me.

+Eyespelegud Their audio game is never on point. It's so simple too...
+Eyespelegud kyle was so loud and woody was so quiet around the 2 1/2 hour mark
+Eyespelegud I wish they started recording the pre-shows again. Then release the pre-show to patrons only.
+Jesse Pinkman I wish Walter was still alive ..
This was my very first watch of this lmao
Me undies, me undies, no more sweaty baaalls, badoop doop. MMP anyone?!

This didn't age well..
RIP Kyle... it's weird to look back at this and hear him talking about a flamethrower accident so casually...
???
AllDetected I don’t remember lol
@@MrTallformyheight lol
dang kyle is really loud and woody is hella quiet
PSA: Diana Rigg isn't dead. I can't find a single thing on the internet that said she died.
damn Kyles sound is way higher than usual! Still a strong Pka though!

I love hearing this American perspective which isn't in American political circles or the media, and it's from these three hosts as well. Love pka.
Woody sure does loooove to talk about himself...

+Phillip Olsen Do they take the topics that you submit?
I dont submit topics..
When woody showed that guys Facebook it was one of the first times I genuinely laughed at this show in a while
When Kyle goes HA at 2:46 I spat my food everywhere
hearing these lot know and talk about the entire david cameron pig situation is hilarious
@1:31:33 RIP Bostin Loyd
does woody sound a lot quieter than everyone else?
Yeah, who cares though?
+drake134487 relax, it wasn't an insult. I care because I have to turn my volume up to hear woody, and then I get kyle screaming in my ears.
+drake134487 Seems like a lot of people do considering how many commented about it.
+drake134487 everyone listening who can barely hear him
+drake134487 I'd rather not get blastered whenever Kyle talks just cos I have to max the volume so I can make out what woody is saying.

Woody. I envy you. Thank you for producing such wonderful podcasts every week.

Audio issues aside, this was a damn good episode
Things drop at the same rate in a vacuum, however wind resistance makes certain things drop slower than others.
Was referring to not in a vacuum with that part.
Roses Are Red
Violets Are Blue
Kyle's Mic Is to Loud
My Ears Burn Too
things fall at the same rate but heavier objects feel more of a force when they hit the ground becasue the force is greater

"Is it just me or does Kyle sound loud and Woody low?"
It's sad but, best part of my god dam week.
Stories spelled wrong in title Woody*
Get 'er fixed before the plebs roll in and say it
audio is really off this episode. can't hear Woody and Kyle is booming.
kyle blew out my speakers
Woody, when you showed that guys Facebook page you exposed your mutual friends. That makes finding you on Facebook super easy.
I love louie ck. I dropped off of his TV show but his specials are hilarious
I'd rather listen to Kyle's mic then Woody's sigh before every sentence...
lol u guys have me dying. heavy objects fall faster than light objects... only exception is in a vacuum.
I wish woody was proportionally as loud as kyle and taylor
Does anyone else remember Kyle saying he loved Entourage and that he's seen every episode multiple times?
1:21:45 kyles finger uhhhh
woody you seem quieter this week
woodys voice is so much quieter than everyone else. terrible audio
Idc about the audio levels because I listen on my laptop speakers and I'm used to it.
Flamethrower would be a great weapon for a good cinema killing
1:58 woody goes savage on that guy

Everyone go to 1:21:57 and pause .
Kyle's mic volume isn't too bad. Would recommend lowering it next week though.
