Cool! I had my daughter help me remove my fridge, and then the furnace, and then the stove! I managed the sink and pump and water heater on my own. I removed one entire wall they were in, and the rebuild has just begun! Good luck with your frame out. I am glad that fridge fit so well top to bottom!

Nice job getting all those screws out of the refrigerator! What a job for you. It’s great seeing how you work and how it turned out for you and now you have your own cooler inside your new RV.👍

It tickles me when you talk to Badge. I don't know enough yet to outfit a tool box, but I think he may have a list inside his head. He isn't always where you need him physically, but I think you have him living rent free in your head. That's a good thing. You guys are teaching us. Thanks for a great video. I will be taking my Norco propane/DC/electric fridge out of the motorhome to put in van/box conversion. Looking good on healing.

hope you saved those dark pans to use (i have two like them in my full side fridge) might just fit inside of yours smaller one. and a rack or two for over a fire grill...great to sit a pot on or pan, or use for a shelf inside a cabinet....I am sure you save because I know you use everything. Dan must be gone now ?? Be blessed...Cil

This was very helpful. I thought I'd have to take the whole wall out ! I probably am going to take that wall out later but it would've been wayyy overcomplicated.
Now that I got the fridge out of the wall.. I'm on step 2: getting the fridge outside. I have to pry the metal frame in the front completely off the fridge in order to get it out.

I will probably be doing the same thing soon. I am thinking about taking Mine and getting it fixed. I know mine sprang a leak, because one night I could smell Amonia really bad. There is a place up North, that sells new units for them and I think they will install them for You. I know it is called Ford's and I think it is Penslvania. A new fridge like that is over $600, but they are nice because they will work on Propane or Electric.

Yikes! Cutting both those 12V wires could make a heck of a spark if theyre live. Simple test to check with a meter or test light.
Marking Positive and Negative might be useful when you hook up up the new frig.
    Stay safe out there!!.

I'm curious on what fridge you replaced it with? I am on my 2nd dead Norcold fridge. They are too expensive to keep replacing. And the only way to get it out is to remove my big window. A total PIA.
In the meantime, I have an apartment type of fridge, which is in the way.

You can convert the 12 volt over to the shore power just put a splitter in between so that when you're aren't on Shore power if you're off grid will run your refrigerator as long as you have enough solar panels to run it if you have three or four solar panels that should run your refrigerator at least during the day

Next time you need to run the wire nuts all the way down instead of just a few turns. You don't need another fire on the new to you rig ;) I know you put the tape but the wire nuts needed to be screwed down tight until they stopped.
