Jeff carpenter from Arkansas my dad and I fished oxbows off the white river here in arkansas we took a ice chest and drilled two holes in the side of it took a airrater ran the two plastic hose’s in the holes put heavy duty caulk in them mounted the air airrater to the side of ice chest with a bracket we had know for minnow problems. Good luck old fisherman keep doing what your doing you inspire lot more people than you know

Old Fisherman loving life and still catching slab crappies. I'm gonna try and catch some bream Wednesday in a private pond that probably hasn't been fished in about 5 years. We been getting warm weather lately in Louisiana so the bream have been active. Will try and get on the crappie this weekend.

Just curious to know how long it takes you to get to your favorite boat launch both on Murray and Monticello from your driveway? Also, do you think having double minnow rigs produces that many more fish over a single minnow rig to deal with the aggravation of the tangles?

    • @theoldfisherman2040

It’s about 25 miles one way to Lake Monticello and Lake Murray. It’s only about 3 miles to ramp one way unless I go to Dreaher Island to unload it’s about 15 miles one way.
