- Here we go again. Power star vs Sonic.exe
A collision with Newground and Creepypasta. (Trollpasta)
A battle between "Devil" and "God"
A universal end that results violence and horror.
And the battle that no one asked for...
Devil Mario from the Power star series.
VS
X from the Sonic.EXE series.
(And yes, "Devil Mario" and "X" is what the producer and author refer them as)
- This is intentionally a remastered of my original battle: "Power Star Mario vs Sonic.EXE". And I might delete the original one.
- Even though I took a bit of research on these two since the last battle. This was still made for fun. I ain't claiming any fact for this outcome.
- This was supposed to upload tommorow (Halloween). But Since Devil Mario is not a horror character, I skipped a day.

In case you're confused of seeing these two.
Devil Mario is Super Mario who's been possesed by multiple Boos and his goal is to gain every Power stars in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario's purpose is to destroy "All creation". Thus the universe's fate lay on Luigi's shoulder. Who's attempting to prevent Mario and his Army of Boos from the destruction.
X is some sort of black figure from outside of our dimension. It took it's form from it's idol: Sonic the Hedgehog. X rules his own dimension and his goal is to someday crossover his and our dimension together, so he can turn everyone into his slaves and as their favorite Sonic character. Although he's not strong enough to fuse the worlds yet. He uses the hardrive: "Sonic.EXE" as a door to our world.

"Power Star" brings back the memories. Sonic.exe was owned the moment mario got that master star. If mario ever gets into a fight with other characters the stars, moons and shine'sprites will aid him in those fights.
I don't know about the moons and shine sprites, as there's no concrete evidence he can siphon energy from the aforementioned artifacts. That being said, I do agree with you that the stars will give him a sufficient power boost.
I'm pretty sure this was just a normal power star, apparently turned red. If it were the one infused with multiple would've been bigger
Sonic Exe's main strategy in fights was to spam illusions and fake-outs until his victims were tired and then take advantage of an opening, but he couldn't pull that off with Devil Mario because the possessed plumber had literally none. Plus, Sonic EXE wasn't as intelligent or as combat experienced to compensate. Devil Mario was also strong enough to take on an entire kingdom and slaughter an entire army of highly trained warriors without breaking a sweat while Sonic Exe only attacks innocent bystanders.
Not to mention, there are so many alternate canons to Sonic.Exe to where I feel like people constantly mesh them all together despite how often they conflict with each other.
That's like the equivalent of mashing up _every single_ Sonic interpretation (Movie, Archie, Games, OVA, ect.) and then pitting him against Super Show Mario.

Devil Mario pretty much pulls a Madara for the entire series while exe got no hands
killing characters like tails and knuckles is actually impressive but he has to torment them in order to even have a chance, and isn't even that good of an argument because devil Mario killed Luigi with mostly no issue when they both had a power star, and Luigi is just had strong has Mario in the cannon games. and most fan interpretations do have sonic.exe be a spirit to possess sonic or just a aware game character, so I'll go with the former to compare them and with that yes sonic.exe could be powerful but in something like nightmare begins he can be beaten by weaker characters. most versions don't stand to the power of devil Mario.
I feel like a lot of people underestimate how powerful Devil Mario is.
This is also the only time I feel like Mario would win a fight with Sonic personally.

Mario can react to light speed situations according to Galaxy, so he could still put a fair fight up with Sonic as long as he's ready

Seeing this years later made me really miss this era of UA-cam. I loved watching little animations like this and a ton of people used to make them.
I still think the victor is completely fair too. Sonic.EXE has never really ‘fought’ anyone. At least to my memory. To me he honestly felt like a horror furry version of Homelander. (Which, to be fair can be applied to a lot of other horror related characters too) he’s just an incredibly powerful entity in a world where everything around him is far weaker. He’s never needed to push himself since in canon he can just manipulate the code of that person to his will.
Devil Mario on the other hand, IS a fighter, and a brutally effective one at that. Put Sonic.EXE in a situation where he actually HAS to fight will get him killed most of the time since he’s so used to just toying with people.
At least that’s how I see it. Feel inclined to call this a hot take honestly.

Devil Mario was never meant to be scary thou but Sonic.exe the old version is scary but only for 8 year old to young kids.
This is what happened:Devil Mario has multiple Boos in his body that control Mario's every move,basically they know what Sonic.exe is about to do. He uses everything as a weapon including Yoshi's head.
Sonic.exe's creepy illusions do not really work because Devil Mario doesn't have any disadvantages or fear. Another thing on why Exe lost is literally because he underestimated Devil Mario's power.

OMG!! This is Perfection! Not only is the animation bringing back nostalgia with the use of Mario and Sonic sprites, the iconic lines are what most fans are happy to see.

Comparing one who has killed thousands of helpless animals yet has trouble killing three unpossessed beings against one who successfully killed off the entire mushroom kingdom of trained guards and a skilled Luigi w/ power star energy. Not to mention he’s got comparable speed and outclasses Sonic Exe’s combat skills and experience. He also has multiple souls (aka boos) so it’s not all that easy for exe to take all what, 150 souls before getting to Mario’s? Let’s face it. Sonic’s possessed by one stronger demon and Mario’s possessed by dozens, if not, hundreds of intelligent boos, leaving sonic Exe to be souled out of energy in the end.

I'ma try and settle this for some people. And just so yall don't think I'm choosing sides, I honestly wanted sonic.exe to win, but understood why d.Mario won.
A:Sonic.exe (main theory) is a battered possessed sonic. He has already faced all Sonic's adventures to this point, and is weak. And d.mario isn't the normal-only-superpower(without powerups)-mario. This is a Mario with literal demon powers. While he also was slightly battered, it wasn't as much as Sonic's, as Sonic's only way to not die was by shields, or famously, rings.
B: sonic.exe depends on mind tricks to kill his victims. He has a lot less experience with one-on-one combat. Mario, or D.Mario, has more. And besides, while he is faster, sonic.exe is not capable of winning by speed alone. He had to attack sometime, as mind tricks don't work on another demon.

I agree the only way I saw sonic winning is if he absorbed all of the souls inside of Mario but I wouldn't see that happening.

@@Bed_side Sonic barely pushed the speed of sound, Sonic.Exe isn't even using his body. Smash Mario destroys Sonic with little effort while Sonic has to use blinding speeds just to do little damage. Devil Mario would use Sonic's own speed to break his bones and snaps limbs off with some precision grapples and holds.
It’s crazy how I watch this 3 years later and still has top quality sprites like 2020

That was beautifully done. The fighting style, while not as gifted with special effects as power star was exciting! Faster paced than the original, it contends well as a parody! A real step up in a way!
And I loved the focus on Martial Arts, using the environment around you to impact and corner your opponent.
When a punch is lacking, a brick off the ground will hit more than hard enough! A sword in the foot or a ledge to trip them over will disorient them! Anything and everything is a weapon or advantage for a mind fit to use them!
Truly an epic and brutal fight to the death. The music wasn't bad either!
Take my like and sub! I hope you get better and work on cinematic/special effects!
AND THEN SHOW ME, ONE LAST TIME!
A literal devil with an approximation of hundreds upon thousands of souls worth of combat experience in its being, against a demon whose speciality is possession of a speedy animal with 20 years of world-saving experience, mass murder of a planet of freedom fighters, conquest seeking monsters(The Zeti, for example.), and, oddly enough, innocent civilians of a cushy, layback lifestyle. Not an easy choice. But I'm glad you went with someone who isn't based on a Creepypasta that RUINED MY CHILDHOOD. The video overall, fantastic animation, great use of sprite work, and interesting idea for an opponent for Sonic.EXE. Thumbs up for you, my friend.
