Something happend to him and his family during the world cup's when he was a player for national team he and his family got kind of kidnapped in their house and they forced him to lose with the dutch team, after that horrible event he swore he did not wanted to deal with the nationals ever again as to not playing for the nationals and not coaching for the nationals either. you need to watch other video's of him. In possession, he plays 3-4-3. Without the ball, he plays 4-3-3. He basically prefers to look at the ABILITY of his players on the ball, then to look at how they are strong and can tackle, because they do not add to your play.
His Barcelona's team played 3-4-3 diamond. There are not many coaches who convinced to play that system nowadays. Only a few like Bielsa which we could describe it as 3-3-3-1.
