Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.

My biggest issue with FCP is that you dont have continuity price-wise with the Mac why should you pay monthly for a lesser version when you have a full blown version? I get the only iPad users but for both which i love brining my iPad Pro with me for lighter work flows.I kinda refuse to buy it for my iPad Pro because it kinda makes no sense. I would love for it to be complimentary so i can edit with a lighter load on the fly before moving it to my Mac but i think Apple making it another sub and not including it in Apple One really leaves me just using my Mac Book Pro and never using my iPad for that.
I wish i can afford yearly cost 😢

I would say she is in the minority of iPad Pro users who felt like there was a missing piece without Final Cut because real long time iPad Pro users have been happily using Luma Fusion for years. Why it’s the number 1 editor in the App Store. Final Cut for iPad is a huge disappointment. They brought out none of the pro features people wanted to see and instead focused on gimmicks like the pencil thing, and a camera app inside of the software. Final Cut also has a very poor timeline in comparison to Luma. Not only is it way slower, it’s far harder to navigate too. Especially when it comes to trackpad workflow. Final Cut currently has no way to record audio in timeline, even iMovie can do this! When it comes to Pro features one can just go back and forth and compare and you’ll discover that Luma is packing far more real pro features than Final Cut for iPad. You’d think after this long Apple would at least deliver at 1.0. Final Cut for iPad Pro is cumbersome, and has implemented a very poor Ui model. I hope in time it actually becomes great and the real thing. Final Cut on the Mac is awesome, but I do still think Luma Fusion is the best editor of all time.
I have HUGE problems with many different applications and only use ones that aren't hard, complicated or cumbersome. Maybe I'll have to try this app out and see if I agree with you. Because if anyone is testing anything to see if it is less complicated/ not cumbersome it's me. I'm sure they are all great apps. To different people I'm sure each app caters to different people. Such as me ❤
Example : procreate is easiest for me and I love it , but I have a hard time using clip studio paint, Photoshop, etc
Also I just checked some other reviews on the apps you mentioned. Final cut , in my opinion, I would feel more comfortable using than the others. BUT thats because I'm different from most people. I'm in the minority and I don't mind. I'm absolutely certain those other apps you mentioned are still amazing and work well! I think final cut will get better for ipad pro. Definitely. Only time will tell
Yeah wow. I bought a new ipad JUST for Final Cut so I’ve been playing with it since yesterday and im disappointed as hell. Luma fusion is so much better
@@IDrawToothpicks Willing to bet if you try Luma you will not want to edit in anything else when it comes to working on iPad.

I think the fact FCP for ipad doesn't have a voiceover option directly on the app it's beyond disappointing. Every basic editors has it. Even the free ones. I've filled a feedback about it in on Apple support but I'm so disappointed... Come on, it's a subscription paid app.

Krystal, are you a Yankees fan? I got excited seeing you wear that hat haha. Great video. Not an iPad user, but with this and Photoshop on it seems like you can def use it as a travel computer these days. Just sucks for watching movies in that aspect ratio haha. Good video as always!

it def takes advatnage of the M1 Pro 12.9 i own. subscription kinda sucks though.
I downloaded FCP for iPad as soon as it was available and use it daily for my book trailer creation. The backgrounds are the best feature so far along with the easy animation and key framing feature.

i really don't get this.
as everyone was waiting for this to come out and especially as everyone said this would be really pro i got so excited.
i actually thought about changing the way i spend my money to make up for this subscription but it seems to be exactly the same as Lumafusion.
the only difference is the live drawing feature and and (the advertisement) to change the background without a green screen, because in reality that's extremely bad.
in the actual video from apple you can even see that it glitches.
so yes, in reality it's exactly the same as Lumafusion and it's more expensive..... WHY ???
Many of these people straight up got a “collaboration request” from Apple to shill this product. Not saying she did, as I cannot say for sure. But literally all the tech UA-cam people are repeating the same propaganda script. You are correct. Luma is the same and Da Vinci Resolve is actually better.

Da Vinci Resolve is more powerful and it’s free. 95$ one time payment for lifetime ownership if you want additional features. Apple messed up.
