I'm a few months late to answering the font question, but the font is basically a side effect of playing the game on an emulator. For whatever reason (as in I literally don't know the reason) the font on 3ds emulators are weird and don't look the way they're supposed to.
Vinny's Tomodachi Life playthrough might just be my favorite series on UA-cam, and honestly I cannot express how happy seeing this notification made me.
Miitopia is a pretty awesome successor all things considered, especially the switch port but I agree I'd also love to see Tomodachi Life come to Switch 2? when it comes out. Hopefully with less gendered options which is a great QOL fix they made when creating Miitopia, because I do not want to have to make my Mii into a girl again just for partner options. Also yeah echo what everyone else is saying about having it maybe have a tie in with Miitopia for design reasons. Like maybe Miis can go off to Tomodachi Life to relax, and can come back if they want to adventure in Miitopia again. Plus that might give us Miitopia DLC like new classes/worlds to explore/superboss fights which I crave. Plus some new content for Tomodachi Life along with a graphics update which is everything considering the base game is already so good.

Both for the obvious reason of seeing my overly-detailed Miitopia Biblical Angels working retail, and the simple desire for the current gen to ingest this chaos. After failing to woo Samus 4 times I made his perfect counterpart in Emily Ordinary out of pity, only for them to never meet ot interact and for Emily to fall in love with Glass Joe instead.
Tomodachi Life playthroughs tend to be some of the most absurd things & I mean that in the best way possible (having watched Vinny's playthrough multiple times)
I feel like this version of Sol treats every single person on the island they way the actual Sol treats Sin. He'd play that stupid 'catch' minigame with the string attached to a packet of sugar with Sin and then fight Sin if he didn't catch it.
I've never been so emotionally invested in Tomodachi Life in my life, my heart sank when Peter didn't forgive Bridget. Sol and Urien are probably the best villagers because Sol is just the biggest menace next to Ed Sheeran while Urien is just a real one, labbing combos. Bridget's funny too for 0 reason as well
