A new Luigi's Mansion in a haunted theme park would be awesome. You could have your typical haunted house there, plus countless other places filled with ghosts and spooky creatures 💀

you could have a haunted theme park where you have the main attractions and most of the main quest lines and then dead center in the middle of the park is where the haunted mansion is which could act as a sort of hub or home base and then surrounding the park could be a haunted swamp lands where you can venture out for various quests and activities that characters will give you and the best mechanic of the game could be that you get to run and build/customize your own haunted theme park for all the ghosts and ghouls to come and spend their coins while maintaining and defending the park from the evil denizens of the swamp.
@@OddRob92 those are some really cool ideas. My idea for the haunted mansion was literally that as well, it's in the middle of the park and it's the hub where Professor E. Gadd is. It would be cool to see a haunted house attraction that is actually haunted, because Luigi wouldn't be able to tell (at least at first) whether the ghosts and ghouls there are real or just props/special effects/tricks
We need Luigi to team up with Daisy. Perhaps she could unvite him to her castle that's been haunted or something. That would breathe fresh life in the series, and give Luigi a chance to shine with his girl!

Luigi's mansion is the only story based game that I've ever replayed several times and still loved it.

I would love if maybe Luigi was invited to see the 'grand opening' of a museum or something which has an inn/hotel close by where he is to stay for the early morning event. He brings Daisy with him and when night falls they get separated. He founds her trying to punch a ghost and helps her with the ghost before she becomes a playable character.
The play area would include hopeful: a museum, a forest, a graveyard, a hotal and maybe a mansion as well.
You could even have Luigi maybe looks calmer if Daisy is close by as she helps him feel a little braver.

A haunted Kingdom would be awesome. Or, rather, several kingdoms that are haunted. That would make the game wide and expansive. Plus, the variety of ghosts could change depending on what kingdom Luigi is investigating. And maybe have different abilities with the Poltergust like flying over gaps, pushing things for puzzles, etc. And some jumpscares.
I agree more of the scare factor should come back. The original Luigi’s Mansion was scary as a kid. I know they toned things down in the next two to make it more kid friendly but there could be a nice middle ground.
Like how RE VILLAGE had a really scary part in-between action-oriented sections. (That's also a game Capcom didn't wanted to make that scary, just instead of being kid friendly it leaned more towards action.)
at least LM3 is scarier, i mean the LM2 ghosts look like just people that do nothing wrong
@the_Wally_man:LM2 did have a ghost that jumps out at you scaring Luigi though I think whether or not someone gets scared depends on the person themselves and not So much the game since they also made Luigi’s Mansion 2 super hard to level wise. A certain number of people are use to scary movies so they don’t really get scared and certain other people hate scary movies…etc…. Plus Luigi’s Mansion is suppose to be for kids but iam sure there is a middle ground that would make both sides happy like scary but not too scary. Also a lot of the ghosts in general just aren’t all that scary like the creeper ghost is called creeper yet all it does is pop out at you wanting to cuddle. The sneaker ghost also ain’t all that scary it pretty much just sneaks up on you and distracts you as a prank. Also I think they dialed it back scare wise so people wouldn’t be complaining about their kids getting scared to play the game so there’s a chance that Luigi’s mansion 1 might have went a bit too far with the scaring tacts. 3 seems be scary but not too scary aka similar to a perfect middle ground. But honestly the game is suppose to also be for the kids and not just for adults. Also not everyone likes getting scared when playing video games.
I love how nobody ever brings up that Luigi officially has his own unique revival system. Mario has his 1 up shrooms and Luigi has his golden bones, Luigi pays his dog to revive him. I don't know why everybody just keeps overlooking this detail and the implications behind it.
I hope Luigi's Mansion 4 gives Luigi his "I ain't afraid of no ghosts" moment. Kinda complete his story arc to which he's more confident in himself.

I would love to see another ghost partner that will help Luigi along side polterpup in Luigi’s adventure. Just like how Mario had all those partners that helped him through out his adventures.

@@JoiningIrons3306 It would if Nintendo actually cared about Luigi fans :( Sigh. Funny thing is, I get the sense that Luigi is actually MORE loved than Mario, and you see signs of this even on their e-shop, where Luigi-themed merchandise is sold out but the Mario version is not (the cup, for instance - Mario's is for sale, Luigi's an Bowser's are sold out). They could only stand to MAKE money by simply porting it over, so I really don't see why they've obviously gone out of their WAY to make sure 2 is on there but not 1, UNLESS this Gamecube addition to the store is going to have it as part of the paid monthly service. Not the way I'd PREFER to play it - I want to just buy it physically - but if it's the original GCN version, I'd subscribe to just play through it once more.

@JoiningIrons3306:it actually is possible to happen since they did Luigi’s mansion 2 for the switch plus it’s more than possible because of Luigi’s mansion 3&4 being for the switch and alot of people don’t own game cubes anymore. Also they did do Luigi’s mansion 2 for the switch plus it would be way easier to play all Luigi’s mansions games in order since almost all of them are on the switch. So it is more than possible for them to do Luigi’s mansion 1 on the switch. Luigi’s mansion 2 was originally created for the DS and then they decided to do the right thing and bring it over to the switch. Luigi’s mansion 1 definitely has a chance of being on the switch at some point since it would be easier to have all the Luigi’s mansions games in one area aka on one console rather than to have them spread out all over between different consoles. Game cubes aren’t a thing anymore anyway or a lot of people don’t have game cubes plus the switch is portable and traveable plus it’s hand held so people can take their switches with them on vacations and play their favorite games. Also Luigi’s mansion 2 is on the switch and Luigi’s mansion 3&4 are made exactly for the switch so them doing Luigi’s mansion 1 is a strong possibility since then all the Luigi’s mansions games can be on one console where they belong. Also people said Luigi’s mansion 2 would never come to the switch and they ended up being wrong by a lot so you don’t know that they won’t bring the first Luigi’s mansion to the switch to be with the other ones it’s actually very possible especially since they did Luigi’s mansion 2 for the switch and especially Luigi’s mansion 3&4 are created exactly for the switch

With how long it took for Luigi's Mansion 3 to be made with 6 year gap in between the third & second games and with the recent release of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, I think that Luigi's Mansion 4 could definitely be on the horizon for the Nintendo Switch 2's release. When Luigi's Mansion 1 got a remake announced for the 3DS during the March 2018 Nintendo Direct it wasn't long before Luigi's Mansion 3 would get hinted at during an SSBU direct and announced later that year during the September 2018 Nintendo Direct.

If you like Pokémon, there’s a Pokémon fan game called Pokemon insurgence. Where they wanted to add darker elements like bed language, more violence and death and also having cultist instead of an ordinary evil Pokémon team. They had a casual mode and a dark story mode. It would be cool to see in a Luigi’s mansion game but I doubt Nintendo would do it, remember they hate fun now. They used to be fun in all there Nintendo directs but now they barely crack a joke. I’m kidding of course but also there might be a little bit of truth there
You mean like hidden mansion mode of the first Luigi’s mansion game?
@@lucafasano877 not exactly, just a mode that makes things a little darker in tone like perhaps dialogue and characters dying instead of like disappearing in a cloud of smoke like the broodals did in Mario odyssey.
I'm all for a Luigi's Mansion 4, I really enjoyed playing the original Luigi's Mansion with my brothers. Even when Luigi's Mansion 3 came out, I had a lot of fun playing that game so much.
I'm now currently playing Luigi's Mansion 2 for the very first time on Switch. I've never played the original 3DS version, but I am enjoying it, but I do have annoyances.

My favorite thing is having different theme building structures to travel around to each location, & the mission statuses are fine by me, but there's also something that disappoints me as well.
My disappointed thing is that after you complete the main mission, E. Gadd will call you out of blue, congratulating you on your victory and bringing you back to the bunker.
I'm very annoyed by this because he doesn't give you an option to wait a moment while you go and collect some last-minute things that you missed.
Here are some of my own ideas for a Luigi's Mansion 4.
1: Mini open world Ghost town with different themed haunted buildings to travel too. (Similar to Luigi's Mansion 2, but with an actual travel structure instead of mission by mission based idea)
2: To feature Princess Daisy as a playable character as well.
3: Haunted buildings will include
1: Graveyard Museum.
2: Horror University.
3: Old abandoned Library.
4: Spiders Hospital.
5: Terror Prison.
6: Thunderstorm Gardens.
7: Old underground Theater.
8: Wasted City-Hall
9: Neverending Mansion.
New Features include.
The Switchcraft & the Switchcraft Nite.
Switch combined with witchcraft.
Poltergust 7D 100. ( sounds like 70 hundred).
New Light mode called Image projector.
New Boxing glove smasher.
Returning features from previous Luigi's mansions.
Element based features
Fire can upgrade to Lava.
Water can upgrade to Ice.
Thunder can upgrade to Lighting.
Thunder is a sound based shockwave that emits a radar system.
Lighting is used to power up certain things that need power.
Gooigi returns + Introducing Claisy.
Claisy is a clay model statute of Daisy herself.
Boo Luigi, & Boo Daisy feature.
The storyline is "Luigi receives a letter from Daisy, mentioning that she needs his help. However, after Luigi is long gone, we see Daisy come by finding the letter for Luigi, even bumping into E. Gadd himself.
Later, when Luigi arrives at the place, we find Daisy in picture frame, Luigi frees Daisy, but we soon discover that's not Daisy, but instead King Boo with a brand new ability called Transformations.
King Boo can look transform to look like anyone.
This is also how he'll fight for the boss fight.
3 Rounds.
1st is Giant Peach.
Will thow multiple crowns around, must dodge & send at least 3 back to reveal King Boo's true form to deal damage.
2nd is Giant Yoshi.
Sticks out tongue with exploding eggs, must shoot 6 eggs back into mouth before exploding.
3rd is Giant Mario.
Will throw bob-bombs that bounce around the area, will throw is Giant Cap must dodge the giant cap, then fire the bomb onto his head before his cap is back on, must repeat at least 9 times to reveal King Boo.
That's basically all I have for my idea.

@clifford1920:I think he doesn’t let you do that because there’s time to do that later on by going back and redoing the mission like if you miss a gem you can replay the mission and get whatever you didn’t get before the first time around. Or there’s also a bonus/free play part of the game or whatever it’s called where you can collect stuff then too if needed
@clifford1920:its kind of like how at the end of Luigi’s mansion 3 you can go around collecting whatever you want after you have all the areas open. Like you can go treasure hunting as much as you want after all the floors are opened up in Luigi’s mansion 3. I feel like it’s the same for Luigi’s mansion 2 like you can get to that one gem in the roundhouse area after you fight the roundhouse poltergeist if you’ve missed that gem before because then you don’t have to use the lift passageway areas to get to the roundhouse passage way because the round house plank will be lowered down after the roundhouse brawl. Plus money and coins appear like almost 24/7 in the game so you can always back to collect more treasures later on plus replaying the missions lets you skip on all the hard passage ways because you can just take the easy ways to get to your location that’s needed.
It will be cool to see a Luigi mansion game with multiplayer mode that can have a few years of content support and make Luigi mansion come out often

I have some ideas for Luigi's Mansion 4. A haunted castle or a mansion that's the size of a castle! I want it to be 1 giant place to play in! Luigi can team up with Gooigi again, but this time, when you rescue Mario immediately and then Professor Egadd gives Mario his own vacuum. Then, your goal is to save Daisy instead. So, now you have a team of 3. Then you can switch between Luigi, Mario and Gooigi. The new Poltergust 100,000 for Luigi has the ability to shoot water, ice and lightning and the new Poltergust 9,000 for Mario has the ability to shoot fire, wind and earth. These come in handy as there are new elemental ghosts that are weak to the elements and you can only defeat them with their weakness before sucking them in! You can also use the elements on Gooigi and he blasts into the more powerful ghosts with his body. This makes him combust, but it's Gooigi. He can always reform. All you have to do to switch between characters, is push down the left analog stick or right analog stick. Pushing down the left analog switches you between Luigi and Mario. Pushing down the right analog stick switches you between Luigi and Googi. For the boss fights, all 3 characters will be needed. The AI smart and obviously control the characters that you're not playing as. They will each stun the boss ghost when you stun them. Mario and Gooigi will pull the boss ghost toward Luigi and only Luigi can suck up the boss ghost into his vacuum. You will need to switch between characters, as most of boss ghosts will be an elemental type that only Luigi or Mario can damage before sucking it up.
The final boss is King Boo again, but he's now gigantic and you'll need all 3 characters to suck at him with their vacuums and as they do, he will start shrinking as you are removing dark essence form him.
By the way, I made this all up as I went along. I started my ideas as I watched your video. Then, the elements idea came to me. The rest came out as I went along, typing this up.
It could be neat seeing Waluigi pop up somehow as a villain or rival

Another possibility would be a classic haunted amusement park! They can once again use the idea of LM2 of taking multiple worlds.

i honestly don't think they're gonna make luigi's mansion 4 because the hotel in the third game is called the last resort which makes me think they're done with the series. i still hope they make a fourth game or maybe do a different series featuring luigi as the main character.

I think Luigi's Mansion should be on a cruise ship... Daisy's cruiser and maybe it's called like Luigi's ghost ship or haunted seas... Something like that, but I think having a different location or having a day and night cycle on the cruise ship would be really cool like everything is normal in the daytime but then you have to swap over or go to bed and then at night all the ghosts run amok. I think it'd be kind of a cool thing for Nintendo to do

Idea: a more team based game
You’d manage Luigi, Mario, Daisy and Peach and would switch between them, with you being able to go together as a powerful team but also split up to explore more areas and solve puzzles (like the code being displayed in one room while the input is on the other side of the map, with even a few puzzles taking place over multiple mansions). Every character would also have unique abilities, with gooigi being exclusive to Luigi and the other characters having their own gimmick. Mario would maybe use the elements from Luigi’s mansion 1, peach would use a parasol to float over enemies and gaps like the floating berrys in Luigi’s mansion 2, while Daisy would be able use the plunger to wreck stuff. Different characters might have to take widely different paths through the same area. Of course, you’d also be able to send anyone to automate go through already explored areas, but will also be alerted if any ghosts interrupt the trip.
The game would be about stopping king boo (again), after he somehow was freed by a „spiked turtle“, but kamek being trapped inside a painting makes it clear that Bowser, bowser Junior and the koopalings are now the ones in need of rescuing. The main hub and first world is a massive cruiseship that is home to plenty of ghosts and puzzles. After that is cleared, you can dock, acceding the second and third world. The second and third world as well as the fourth and fifth world can be tackled in any order while the sixth and seventh world must be done in sequence. After defeating the boss of the world, a koopaling is freed to show progress, with each koopaling revealing more about king boo. First to be saved from the cruiseship is Morton, who really can’t tell you much of anything except that he remembers that Ludwig was off while the koopalings were attacked, but Morton doesn’t remember anything about the attacks. From the next two mansions, Lemmy and Iggy are saved, who tell the player that bowser and king boo are close allies and question why king boo would attack them. Next Wendy and Roy are saved, who recall that Ludwig was the one to attack them. Roy accuses that Ludwig betrayed them while Wendy states that Ludwig must’ve been possessed. After Larry is freed, he reveals that Ludwig himself freed king boo as part of a deal he made with the ghost king to be taught dark magic, but is also certain that Ludwig was betrayed and possessed by king boo afterwards.
The seventh mansion is where Ludwig is freed at the halfway-mark, not from a painting but from being possessed by special RED spirit balls that possess sentient beings, including ghosts, where he reveals that when he and king boo were on their way away from E. Gadds lab, Ludwig remembers being ambushed by king boo. Ludwig notes that something is wrong with king boo, suggesting that king boo might‘ve gone mad from some new power source. After encountering and capturing king boo in the seventh mansion, bowser Junior is freed but bowser isn’t, Bowser Junior remarks that bowser defeated king boo, but another ghost finished off the weakened koopa king. It is revealed that king boo himself was possessed by another ghost, the true big bad, whose plan had just been fulfilled. Luigi’s meddling with the other mansions has broken the seals of an ancient underwater palace that acts as the games final mansion. That is where the finale takes place, deep in the dark underwater, with the ghost commanding his minions as well as reactivated technology from the palace. Luigi, with the help of his team, the koopalings and even king boo himself defeats the big bad before they are able to use the superweapon that led to the palace sinking in the first place, also freeing bowser.
King boo makes a run for it after his rival is defeated.
That’s a great idea and all I just don’t like the playable aspect like Mario daisy and peach imo cuz I feel like the game should mostly be based on Luigi since it’s Luigi’s mansion not multiples mansion
Maybe the next Game could be like some old creepy Village. Luigi gets invited to some Festival and at Night everything Turns into Horror. And that Village got one Big House but also some Smaller ones throughout the Village
If 2 systems in a row, Nintendo makes a new Luigi’s Mansion game and then around 5 years later port the previous game to the system, right before making a new game than that’s wild
I want to see multiple mansions/places with places connecting them like a haunted forest. I also want a team up with Daisy or even Mario, and it would be awesome to see Polterpup help, maybe with hidden rooms that are not accessible from the outside. And last of all I would like to see a doomsday scenario such as the whole world about to suffer king boos influence, leading to essentially Luigi saving the world
Luigi’s Mansion is my favourite spin off from the Mario series and really hope we see more. I’ve only played 2 & 3 and loved both of them. If Luigi’s Mansion 4 does release, I hope it leans more into the scariness and creepiness of the series

Not a cruise ship - too modern - it should be on a Nintendo version of TITANIC! A haunted ship, raised from the ocean depths, that looks a lot like Titanic. That'd be creepier. The issue with that is...how can they call it "Luigi's Mansion" when it's not a mansion? "Luigi's Cruise Ship" doesn't have the same ring to it. "Luigi's Voyage" maybe? lol start of a new series where Luigi's at sea. Or actually, maybe a pirate ship? Daisy being involved would be nice - she can give our boy in green a kiss at the end :)

Also secret mines and haunted towers in Luigi’s mansion 2 aka Luigi’s mansion dark moon both weren’t even mansions they were a mine and a tower so the game could totally pull off a haunted like cruise ship they pulled off a haunted hotel in Luigi’s mansion 3.

That’s a great idea! Maybe Daisy’s castle can be used with some floors above the ground and a lot of floors under the ground which are all haunted and professor E. Gadd go along whit Luigi and sets his portable lab on the ground floor or just outside the castle.
The floors are also older until you reach some that aren’t even floors of the bunker but old mine shafts and Egyptian tombs

Luigi's Mansion 4 will definitely be one of the Switch 2's biggest graphical showcases, and unlike 3 where it was just "wow it's incredible this is running on the switch", 4 will be like "oh my god this is one of the best looking games period." We already know how amazing some games look on PS4 level hardware: games like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead 2, Resident Evil 8, all designed for that base ps4 from 2013. Next Level Games is going to push that just as much, and be a true AAA game. We're gonna get extremely detailed environments and animations, Luigi is gonna look amazing, and overall look like a playable Pixar movie with tons of charm. It's one of those games that has slower gameplay in smaller set pieces that can just allow the devs to pack in tons of graphical details. The lighting is going to be super eerie and atmospheric. I think we're going to get a game running at either 1440p or 4K at 30fps to allow for peak visuals. Of course there's also going to be improvements to the gameplay to make it feel more epic.
Luigi's mansion 4, Pikmin 5 and Mario Kart are going to be Nintendo's defining graphical showpieces for the switch 2 I believe. But then again some games can only look so good because of their gameplay. Like an open world Zelda game is always gonna be visually limited because open worlds are very taxing on the hardware. Games like 3D Mario and Smash Bros also have to run at 60fps, so they can look great but have to prioritize frame rate over visuals. But games like Luigi's Mansion and Mario Kart have gameplay styles that enable graphical priority. And that's why those games are so exciting to look forward to.

My personal idea for luigis mansion 4:You are traped in a spooky dungeon with evil ghosts that have gone insane because being locked away for years luigis enters peachs castle not knowing peach was a evil ghost after she had been hypnotised by king boo who escaped the poltergust king boo send armys of ghosts to find and destroy luigi as luigi got traped in the dungeon there was king boo he had the key to escape the dungeon and gave it to his main assistant as king boo guarded the gate of the castle

My fave ideas for the next game are an entire town filled with various buildings to explore, so similar to mario odyssey or the zelda games, or a haunted museum this time. The latter is bcuz of how much untapped potential there is for the unnatural history museum. The last mansion in dark moon did a pretty good job of utilizing the museum gimmick

My idea: LUIGI'S MANSION IN LUIGI'S MANSION.
Lemme explain: My idea is that King Boo captures Mario again in Luigi's Mansion and takes Luigi's current mansion and converts it to what it was in the first game: A haunted mansion filled with horrifying specters. This mansion would even have the same scary music that would play in the first Luigi's Mansion whenever you'd be in a room that still had ghosts. The Bashers from the E3 demo would be present here, too, along with the first game's lost Chef Ghost, along with the rumored Safari Ghost, and the mysterious, recently discovered, textureless monstrosity, *E L H .* This would be an excellent way to pay homage to the very roots of the franchise. Even Super Mario Odyssey paid homage to the origin of 3d Mario, Super Mario 64. Another thing they could do is start the game with King Boo still being locked up, and the Dark Moon of Evershade Valley gets destroyed by Boolosus and Boohemoth together, and at some point, King Boo gets released from Professor Elvin Gadd's lab, and Luigi fights him a bit later on, but King Boo doesn't get defeated fully, and then his Boo minions hand him a gem that they found for his crown. Also, King Boo starts out as his plain version, but his crown is still the same as Luigi's Mansion, just without the gem. When King Boo gets the new gem, though, he reverts to his better form. After that, Luigi captures all the ghosts, but then learns that King Boo has trapped Mario and took over his mansion.
Also, replace the piano in the music room with the Derranged Killer Piano from Super Mario 64 as a possesed object.

My idea: Have a single mansion, like the first game. But have it be a realistic building, like the ones in Dark Moon, an actual haunted place, not some weird ghost construct. There are objects scattered in the mansion that, if you interact with them, suck you in, like the minigames in 2, but they are full levels instead. A grandfather clock sends you into a clockwork world, a ship in a bottle puts you on a haunted ship, et cetera. Have all the weird stuff in those levels while the main mansion is more seriously (but still humorously) haunted. And in the end, when you confront King Boo - you get sucked into him and he is actually the final mansion himself.
This concept gives us basically several mansions in one and you can explore them (mostly) in any order. It also allows to make individual parts scary or silly, as they don't have to be absolutely coherent.

Daisy should get captured by King Boo in Luigi’s Mansion 4. Mario has always gotten to save his girlfriend instead of Luigi. Also, I plan to get Luigi’s Mansion 3 for Christmas this year! I am so excited! I have heard lots of good things about it. I think it will be the best one in the Luigi’s Mansion series.
I kind of want a Luigi's mansion game that takes place in Peach's castle. I think that would be cool and nostalgic since we don't get to actually go in the castle as much as in Super Mario 64. Maybe the ghosts could turn each room into a larger version of the painting worlds (similar to how 3 has a different theme for each floor) and the boss battles could be similar to the SM64 fights with changes to fit the Luigi's mansion aesthetic

I know this sounds crazy but an open world Ocarina of Time style Luigi's Mansion with the multiple mansions that you can explore at any time would be great. Having an epic storyline would also be really cool. I know neither of these are likely to happen but I feel like that would make the best LM4 imo.

The first game has the GameBoy Horror (Color), the second game has the Dual Scream (DS), and this game has the Virtual Boo (Virtual Boy). My thoughts on this game’s rumored successor Luigi’s Mansion 4 is that they can have it be something based on the Wii U game pad or the Switch. Like the Wii Boo could be the played on name, or the one based on the Switch could be called the Witch. Yes I know it’s a ghost game not a witch game. I only came up with that for purposes of giving it a name kind of similar to Switch but keeping it horror related.
I think they should make the 4th game follow the adventure of Luigi in the portrait realm.

We need a Luigis mansion that carries more features from the first game. I'm talking about horror elements, darker tones in story behind ghost characters, give lore regarding the deaths of the characters and how they all treated eachother when they were living, make the camera movement similar and closer to give us a feel for immersion, give us music that has purpose in every single situation and make it darker. I'm not a fan of the upbeat music unless it's reflected properly like after beating a boss or finding some kind of secrets, give us locked off sections that we have no idea whether we can actually unlock those areas but find subtle hints throughout the map whether it's from a diary or something we can explore to find. Give us some critical thinking. Ghost designs should have more oomph like the original. I'm probably sounding biased at this point, maybe im not alone?

Luigi gets invited into one of balls hosted by princess daisy with Mario going there to support his brother while peach is there that's when a mysterious new ghost character would possess daisy and turn her Evil like wjat shadow queen did with peach in paper mario one thousand year door and whole place becomes haunted,new ghosts,bosses etc and Luigi would have to rescue Mario and peach alongside defeat the ghosts and daisy would be final boss
I got inspired by princess peach showtime or Luigi's mansion 3 where whole place gets corrupted and to free it you have to defeat all main baddies to break the seal,fun fact in those 2 games it ended up having the building destroyed and rebuilt
A open world with multiple mansions would be great as well and I love the new ghost part because boo got repetitive and also daisy hypntoized does sound interesting, depending since I love both ideas of her being playable and her being corrupted since it would both build up awesome character development.
We all know this series will be back, but I think nintendo anxiety kicks in. Could always be an 8 year gap between releasss, like the next 3d mario.

I just think a remake of Luigi’s Mansion 1, a real remake this time not the 3DS port that feels nothing like a remake is for the best. The controls haven’t aged well, the pacing is awkward with how you gain the element abilities & Mario’s clothes makes it feel rushed. So remake Luigi’s Mansion 1 not by Grezzo this time.

Daisy should be the co-op partner for Luigi, the positive reception Nintendo got for having Daisy in Super Mario Wonder, so if they added Daisy for LM4 it would capitalize on that. My idea for an opening cutscene is Luigi & Daisy are having a night at his house watching TV where they see a news broadcast where Wario & Waluigi got arrested for breaking into New Donk City Bank(doesn't play into the story, but I thought it would be a funny world building thing).
A loud noise is heard in the basement of Luigi's house, the two go to investigate, they open the door, seeing water. They both get changed, Luigi in his usual outfit and Daisy wears her version of the plumber outfit(so she's not wearing a dress fighting Ghosts). The fix the pipe, and while they're doing it, there's a set of red eyes watching them from the shadows. They got back until the living room, E. Gadd appears on the TV, telling them that there's a small town that needs ghost busting.
E. Gadd goes to pixelate Luigi, but Daisy grabs him and they both get transported to E. Gadd's lab. The professor is surprised but welcomes Daisy to the Ghost Hunting, E. Gadd says there's a ghost named Salem who's brought her ghost minions to haunt this town of Canter Park. E. Gadd tells Luigi that's he's been working on the new Poltergust 10,000 which he gives him and Daisy uses the Poltergust G-00 or whatever Luigi's vacuum was named in LM3.
E. Gadd said he had an assistant named Lillie but she's disappeared, Salem's footsoldier minions are like the Green, Blue & red minions in LM3, here "generals" are Syrena, a mermaid/siren type ghost who throws water & Ice at Luigi & Daisy and she uses her voice to lull other ghost to do her bidding, she's in the Aquarium in Canter Park. Aster, a electrician ghost who's in the power plant of the town, he shoots electricity. Amber a rockstar ghost who plays a guitar that fires soundwaves at Luigi & Daisy, she's in the town's Ampitheater.
Salem tells Luigi & Daisy to come to the Museum to face her, when the get their they see Salem(she's Vampire like) and another ghost that looks like Lillie. Salem reveals she found this artifact called the Paradox Orb, that can turn a living being into a ghost, which is what Salem did to Lillie. Salem reveals she's been watching Luigi for some time and wanted to test the strength of the hero that's defeated the legendary King Boo(she's the red eyes that was watching Luigi & Daisy at the beginning) After defeating Lillie, the two heroes go and defeat Salem in the Mansion in the Town.
E. Gadd uses the Paradox Orb to turn Lillie back to Human and they day is saved. Salem is named after the Salem witch trials and Canter Park is named after the canterville ghost story.

I was also thinking of a combined Mario & Luigi game just like a Pokemon title. People can either choose the Mario version of the game just like Pkmn Sun, Ruby, Scarlet or Luigi version of the game just like Moon, Sapphire or Violet. Mario is like a daredevil dealing with monsters and koopas in the real world...whereas Luigi's in the 'upside down' of the real world dealing with ghosts and other creatures with his poltergust. You need to team up with another player of the opposite game to solve the mystery and complete the game. Sounds kind of out of the box but would definitely be hella exciting.

I feel like since it’s delayed until next year, I think maybe they are planning Luigi‘s mansion 4 to be like a launch release and also it would be cool if in your idea they have three mansions but with each in the mansions, the regular ghosts where we look different like the first one will look like Luigi’s mansion one ghosts the second mansion will have the Luigi mansion 2 ghosts and also the third mansion would have Luigi‘s mansion 3 ghosts which in my opinion, I think the regular ghosts have the best designs out of the two or maybe even a fourth mansion with completely new ghosted designs and new bosses or maybe they could do views all of the games into one like you said by making basically the whole game or free other games with also some new ghosts
I do like the multiple mansions because I find it more interesting.
The first one is good so if they decide to do one mansion then it has to be very big and have some sort of secrets like underground dungeons, caverns, forests, graveyards and etc. I want to explore them. LM3 was fine but I didn’t like how fake they all are.
Like I want to explore an actual pyramid and an Actual Castle.
I just want more natural and abandoned mansions and areas with lore and all. That’s why I like LM2 mansions since they had a bit of lore like each mansion has their descriptions but I want them to be more Lore Heavy in LM4. Like Luigi can find notes, photos, personal items, etc from those who use to live in said mansions and It would give this game a bit of an edge but not outright being too dark. I want LM4 to have more of a mystery feel to it as you go around mansions, discovering dark secrets, battle ghosts, and more.
Basically I want a Luigi’s mansions game that feels a bit Tim Burton esque with a spooky mystery twist.
If they were to go with a single mansion then I hope it’s huge and with other areas around the land.
And also touch upon the concept of a Spirit World type thing or like stranger things Upside down where you can do some interesting puzzles that can effect the real or spirit world.
