I think the original"stop mocking me" piccolo says, when he destroyed the moon, is a joke about him hearing well. You see, Goku once sent a rabbit villain to live on the moon, in the original series, when he was a child. I think Piccolo heard him making fun of him having troubles with gohan
@山本 孝之 I am not sure it's ever mentioned in the abridged, but i think the rabbit and his goons are still on the moon xD ever since goku put them there to repent
@山本 孝之 hmmm interesting. I might have to look it up. If the wish was "restore the moon to how it was before it got blown up", then that could've brought the rabbit back
The moon was destroyed by Roshi during the first tournament arc. Presumably, master carrot is dead because of this. It was remade by kami, as his powers were somewhat nebulous at the time, but I don't think it's ever stated that he brought back monster carrot. I assume he wouldn't, as monster carrot is a bad person who enslaved an entire town under the threat of being turned into carrots and eaten.
@@thomasdahlberg5920 Toriyama said in an interview that Carrot Rabbit and his goons were drifting in the space after the Moon was destroyed by Jackie Chun.
So there's a few references in this one. Back at Kame House when they're talking about stuff they previously did was from the precursor to Z, DragonBall which depicts Goku as a child. Launch is a character from DragonBall who the creator Akira Toriyama forgot about so she's not in Z (Happens far too often) The geeko reference is from the *GOD AWFUL* live action movie DragonBall Evolution. And as you've noticed Nappa doesn't come back in the original after this. TFS continued on with Nappa even after his death, because he's hilarious and you will quote everything he says!
To answer your question on "If they should protect their tails if it is their weak spot?" They do, at least when they're not transformed they would wrap it around their waist(It would look like a fuzzy belt) so it draws less attention, making it less likely to be attacked. Though when they're Great Apes they probably can't help but let it flail about, also they can just smack people that try to attack their tails away.
As demonstrated in Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2, the tail slap is a very effective deterrent. Any new player discovers that rather quickly against Vegeta.
it's really cool because goku's jacked body in fact gets more toned and smaller overtime, it's meant to show that his energy is more focused, and he can use his body with more accuracy. AKA smaller body but BIGGER power.
The production quality goes up like 20 times in the next season and all the movies. You guys can definitely keep on watching, would recommend that you stick to the playlist made by TeamFourStar which also includes the movies and specials, they're placed so that they chronologically makes sense. Love your guys' reactions so far! ❤️
I couldn't wait for the "Im haunting you." and "GHOST NAPPA!" Reactions. Id recommend re-watching the first season to see the subtle hints about the inevitable coming of ghost Nappa.
Howdy, Mat and Chels! Was browsing around for songs and saw one of your reactions and I remembered I actually stopped by in October for some Black Dahlia Murder goodness. I was a bit of a heathen back then and didn't really sub or like things. This has been corrected! Enjoyed your Black Dahlia Murder, Lamb of God, and Make Them Suffer reactions, for sure. Some of my favorite groups. I was particularly giddy that you actually noticed that The Black Dahlia Murder's "Everything Went Black" MV was one giant "Creep Show" reference. Just wanted to say thank you for the reactions and to share with you a group that I've come to like way more than I thought I would, or probably should. 😂 So, last August I fell down the K-pop hole because I had nothing better to do, I do enjoy a broad range of music, and the K-pop industry covers a shitload of different genres. Mid-December, I randomly picked a group called *Dreamcatcher* as my next group to dive into. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a more modern rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). Here are some suggestions from different areas of their title tracks: - "Chase Me" (2017) & "Good Night" (2017) - Their debut song and its continuation. These are the first two title tracks of seven in their "Nightmare" series storyline. Very J-rock/pop. Horror movie vibes. - "Endless Night" (2020) - One of their heavier Japanese songs. - "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality. It's all handled with well thought out lyrics and a shit load of symbolism in the MVs. All three songs sound completely different to reflect the time period in which their portion of the story is told. - "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy af. Song lyrics are about obsessive love and the MV concept involves doppelgangers. The MV and choreography are influenced by, and have references to, the movie "Us". What makes their story even crazier is that they were actually a failed cutesy, "ordinary" K-pop group of three years. After the group disband, their company decided not to let them go because it wasn't the fault of the girls that their group didn't work out. So their company added two members, revamped the name and literally everything else about the failed group, and then Dreamcatcher hopped on the scene on Friday the 13th, January 2017 with an elegant horror style and J-rock/pop sound. Hell of a turn around and insanely bold for a girl group debut. Between their themes, sounds, and songs having actual substance, I fell in love. Honestly, I wouldn't expect a reaction video as only their Japanese songs are heavy enough to adequately fit the channel's vibe. None the less, as someone whose roots are in punk and metal, I believe it's worth checking them out in your free time at least. If you react to them, hell yeah! If you like them, even better! If not, I'm still grateful you gave them the opportunity. 😁 Regardless, again, thank you for the reactions!

Also, if I may recommend one video before going into season 2, it would be the FAQ 2 from 2010. In that one, they basically gave the other characters, who died early in this battle, their Abridged personalities.

The ghost nappa ending was really a great send off for season 1. Sadly, it doesn't work when they tried to shoehorn in Nappa in season 2, so after some tries, they just let it go, which was for the best honestly. Season 2 in general starts off a bit weak imo, but then they hit their peak probably when the next big villain on namek gets introduced. Thanks for your reaction.
