- Song: No Judgment Day
Album: It Would Be You
Writer: Allen Shamblin
This is a hidden track on Gary Allan's second album. It was based on a true story of a shopkeeper in Texas whose children killed him for money. I think it's one of his best songs and it has a very good message. God bless and enjoy! No copyright intended. :)
please put this song out so everyone can hear ......we really need this today!
The part that hits the hardest is "throw our kids away.
If you have a family, you need to love them as much as you can. Their future depends on it.
What's it mean to you?
This song is about the incidents that happen in any town in America at this point. Whether it’s Texas, or Washington, or wherever. Things like this are happening everywhere.
JESUS LOVES YOU...I LOVE YOU...HONEYBEAR 💘 S U.YOUR FAMILY & FANS LOVE U.YOUR BAND 💘 S U....WOW..KOOL...AWESOME.. MR.HERZBERG.HOW BOUT THAT DOUBLE H...YEEHAW.YEPPY YI AH.GOD BLESS YOU WITH A BEAUTIFUL DAY.OK..BE SAFE..BE 😊
Love the song!!! But... the horrible misspelling in this video is disturbing.
All posters and viewers please remember Delbert Belton, Spokane Washington resident and World War Two wounded veteran beaten to death by 16 and 19 year old pieces of human garbage to rob him or did it for kicks
This actually happened around my country and church area. True story. The book is called "Murder in the Afternoon " it was written by one of the surviving girls. VERY GOOD READ! It's nothing fake. It's a sad story. My Dad actually knew one of the girls, I don't remember which one. Check it out. VERY good real life story from Courtois creek. I can still remember stopping by there when I was a kid with my parents. Listen to the song. The building itself has been moved, but buy the book and read it.
This is pretty much word for word. The two kids murdered the ol shop keep over a bologna sandwich and a few dollars. Then went on a horrible rampage in the house out the back. Trust me buy it and read it. I think you can get it on The Independent Journal. Com. From Potosi, Mo.
Everybody has to pray the devil is walking right behind you
Many communities of various sizes have had atrocities such as this song depicts. Easy to say it's about Crosby, Tx or any number of places with like crimes. Until someone can show where Allen Shamblin states it is about a specific incident in a specific town, I choose to believe this haunting tale is a statement of the society we live in where kids murder for kicks or a few bucks. Really, does it matter where this happened? What does matter is someone felt the need to write the song and Gary Allan felt the need to record it and put on a CD as a hidden track. The song and tale are sad and telling.
Raesann I would love to see my grandson I live in San Andreas black Bart 301 I love you both that you kim
My mother's name is AMELIA
Oh wow that is so powerful ❤
Sure is a cold hard truth.
Quite possibly one of his most powerful songs. It needs to be heard by everyone.
.
E😢😢😢🎉..🎉thrrj
Not sure where you got your info, but the song IS NOT BASED ON A SHOPKEEPER AND WHOSE CHILDREN KILLED HIM ! ! Its about a restaurant owner in Crosby, Texas who was savagely beaten to death !
The circumstances are basically irrelevant...50th wedding anniversary, that rips my heart out. My sweet 22 year old niece Erica Faith Hagan was brutally beaten and murdered while teaching in Temuco Chile. Although the details are different, the song is still very relevant. Tragic and unnecessary. I pray for everyone. The young man we believe killed her was provided an alibi by his parents, despite video footage that proved otherwise. There has been no conviction nearly 4 years later.
"Grinning like a movie star," moves me because a young man from my city was the ring leader of the "Vampire Cult Murders" A few years back...and yes...the teen, Rod Ferrell was grinning like a movie star on the news.
@301brighteyes it was not a shopkeeper or his children it was a restaurant owner whose ex employees killed him. It happened in a small town where I'm from and the writer had to edit some of the song, like his last name and what the money was used for. and the reason of changing those was for the family. And the guy was killed on his 50th wedding anniversary.

i have never heard this song in my life
it's actually a bonus track on one of his earlier albums, you let the cd play for like 5 minutes after it ends and it comes on
