Always brings a chuckle seeing the guy running out of the tent to summon the living shield only to get dropped as soon as he steps out of the tent. And the follow up of Rimuru capping Razen almost as an afterthought.

something the anime leaves out is thst diablo deliberatly directed the spell to were it went, in order to kill one of claymans spies. one of claymans five fingers infact. so thats a decently powerful majin who got insta killed.
I know it wouldn't have made sense at the time and would have messed with the pacing but I would have loved to see that.

You probably remember when it was mentioned that the stronger the creature named, the greater the amount of magicules it takes to evolve. It took the 6 Ogres almost all of Rimuru's magicules to name them, since then he has consumed the Orc Lord and Charybdis, and undergone through the Demon Lord evolution, the latter which increased his magicules tenfold. From that, it took half just to name Diablo.

14:02 I would like to point out that merciless and degenerate are not gone. They were integrated into Beezelbub and Raphael respectively. It's actually better that way especially for Beezlebub because Rimiru no longer needs a trigger to consume the soul of a target. If you get devoured by Beezlebub there's no escape or afterlife for you because your soul gets consumed as well.
he traded merciless for beelzebub but, the whole aspect of Merciless that is "snatch souls out of the body IF they are no longer willing to figth" is still there, but better, now he can just use beelzebub and snatch you'r soul when ever he wants.
Hopefully we’ll get to see season 3 late next year and the movie early next year
The aspects of Merciless were added to Glotoney, one of which is now if you were to give up and seek aid, Rimiru can then also consume your soul with it. Less sacrificed, more broken down into its parts and used to build up other skills.
Merciless was not traded in, but made a part of Gluttony to become Beelzebub. Much like how Degenerate was made a part of Great Sage to make Raphael. The functions of the "sacrificed" skills are made a part of the new skill.
Same as last episode, these episodes have many details too.
First, Razen lives one or five hundred years is senseless for Primordial Demon, he still too young.
Second, demon is a race assembled by pure Mana, physical or magical attack is invalid.
Third, those two sacrifice for Soul magic is death, not back to the demon world.
Fourth, those skills who have “name” is ultimate skill overriding every less than it, so that’s why Rafael can break the magic on Veldora so fast
Btw, when hakurou cut off kiyoyas head, thought acceleration was still going. Meaning kiyoya was still ALIVE after hakurou decapitated him

The skills, rather than sacrificed it was more or like integrated. So he didn't lose the skills, his skills(sage and gluttony) got the ability of the skills(degenerate and merciless) he decided to integrate/combined

I honestly didn't find it "slow". There's a pause in the "action" portion of the show, but the world building portion of the show is still in full force. Slime has never been entirely about the action scenes, like DBZ or something, so it switching from action to politics isn't a slow down IMO. That said, "The Meeting" maybe went on a tiny bit too long, could've shortened it juuust a tad, lol.
People never realize how terrifying it must be for Falmuth when rimuru summons Diablo imagine robbing someone and bro summons fucking thanos or Satan himself

Veldora is stronger than before but not because slime body. He gain an ultimate skill and read lot of anime, manga and LNs. so he become stronger. Slime body is just to give his a body.

What benimaru did was basically a throwback to season 1 where rimuru ordered shion to have benimaru taste test her creation first and having him approve. This was suppose to be benimaru's revenge on rimuru

Which is also 5 times as strong as rimuru was Pre-evolution into True Demon Lord... ALSO meaning Beretta is 1/3 as strong as rimuru was pre-volution... Right now beretta has 3% the strength rimuru has...
All of this in terms of "magical power" of course... we still have to consider skills and fighting proficiency...

I've had to ring the bell. For whatever reason, the slime episodes weren't showing up for me until this last one that you uploaded two days ago. Been binging all of the season 2 content. One Piece and Hunter x Hunter are showing up just fine though. No idea why this is the case, but it's all good.
In the manga, Diablo sensed one of Clayman's "Fingers" spying on him during the battle with Razen. So when Razen shot the energy blast at him, Diablo purposely blew it into the sky and directed it towards the finger, disabling Clayman's spying.
Without a doubt, the biggest technical failing of this series is having Great Sage and the Words of the World have the same voice. It is super confusing and so many people get them switched. There is a lore reason for it and it makes sense, but you would never know it by watching the show.
IKR, i tend to leave explanation on reaction vids that one is copy of the other but bit more advanced and talks more while the other1 only speaks when major event happens

The percentage of souls stated in this episode always inrigues me. I cant recall if this number was stated in the novel. 57.235% of 10.000 souls would mean that he collected 5723.5 souls during his massacre. Where in the hell did Rimuru get HALF a soul? Its an absolutely insignificant detail, but for some reason I really want to know where that half soul comes from. Did it perhaps come from Razen? Did half his soul get devoured before he got healed later on? If its stated in the novel, I sure as hell dont remember. I wanna know though.

Watching this week to week was stressful
Even with Drago Nova, the fight between Millim and Carrion still does a really bad job to show the actual difference between their powerleves. There was 100% no need for Millim to use neither her "battle form" nor her Drago Nova. Even without her "battle form" she would only have needed something along the level of a flick of her wrist to kill someone like Carrion. In terms of power, he might as well be an Ant compared to her. She isn't called the "Demon Lord of Absurdity" for nothing.
Shion got Super Lucky that she got the skill that no matter what she makes it's super good. Even if it's a disaster.
Diablo is one of the strongest anime characters and the strongest subordinate of rimuru and will be until the end

Milim have not used her full power yet. Won't say more than that. If you really like slime then you should give "tensura nikki tensei shitara slime datta ken" a watch. It's a slice of life with Rimuru and the others.
to clarify: the Original Dragon as well as the creator of all existence is the Stellar King Dragon Veldanava, he is the father of Milim Nava who is his first child, his 2nd child is Velzado/Velzard (White Ice Dragon) who is the eldest child after Milim, his 3rd child is Velgrynd (Crimson Scorch Dragon), and his 4th and final child is Veldora (Storm King Dragon). Together they are known as the 4 True Dragons and are a higher existence to any normal dragon in the world. they are classified as disaster class entities and are demi-gods, when they die they do not return to the sea of magicules and simply resurrect, albeit without their former memories or experiences. however in Veldora's case because he now has a Soul Corridor with Rimuru as well as the Subskills of the Ultimate Skill - Storm King Dragon Veldora, he is now essentially able to retain his memories, experiences, and personality even if his corporeal form dies, since his soul inhabits rimuru.
Additionally the unofficial 5th True Dragon is Gaia (later as Velgaia), the pet dragon formed as a doppelganger of Stellar King Dragon Veldanava in his weakened form (he was weakened significantly after he offered up the vast majority of his divine power to his 1st daughter, his later children would only have a fraction of Milims power. Milim also inherited every single Ultimate Skill of her father, but because she suffered a mental breakdown and got her memories suppressed she was no longer able to use most of her Ultimate Skills, these skills which required certain masteries and disciplines to operate at all, without them these Ultimate Skills malfunctioned and broke - scattering to the wind.
The most sought after of the Ultimate Skills was the Long Lost Ultimate Skill of Wisdom King Raphael which was said to have contained the soul of Veldanava's Wife Lucia Nava, it was said to be the only Ultimate Skill capable of operating all of the other Ultimate Skills to their utmost extents and capabilities, which meant that everyone other than Rimuru was merely fumbling around with their Ultimate Skills without ever being able to utilize their full potential, one perfect example of this was Demon Lord Dino's Ultimate Skill : Fallen King Lucifer/Lucifel, which haphazardly evolved into Slothful King Belphegor, during all of his time with this Ultimate Skill he was never able to fully utilize its potential.

The Oldest and most powerful of these Primordial Demons is "Rouge" which is now known as Demon King
Guy Crimson - he was one of the two people who pacified Milim Nava before she got destroy the world.
The 2nd Oldest and Wisest Primordial Demon is "Nior" which is now known as Diablo, he is infamous for
having a very small progeny pool, consequentially having a very small clan to his bloodline. he and his kin
are unusual demons that enjoy being incredibly inquisitive in nature and love to delve into the mysteries
of the universe, which is why Diablo himself gained a profound fascination for Rimuru Tempest, who he
felt had the same air around him as Stellar King Dragon Veldanava.
the 3rd Oldest is Vert, now known as Misery. She is one of the two head maids of Demon King
Guy Crimson, not much is known about her other than her consistent levels of dread and misery.
the 4th Oldest is Bleu, now known as Rain. She is one of the two head maids of Demon King
Guy Crimson, not much is known about her other than her fascination for dreary places, like
Demon Lord Guy Crimsons Icey domain, or places with dreary rainy weather.
the 5th is Blanc, now known as Testarossa, her history prior to being forcibly recruited by Diablo
to serve under Rimuru is largely unknown other than her history as being responsible for the
infamous "Lake Shore Dyed Scarlet Incident". she serves Rimuru as the Captain of the Tempest
Military Ataché, as well as the Ambassador to the Western Council. She is the Eldest and most
mature of the 3 Primordial Demons to serve under Diablo and is portrayed as a very noblewoman-
like demeanor & personality with the attire to match, and by extension to serve under Rimuru.
She is the only Primordial Demon known to be capable of forming true friendships.

eachother over the smallest things on a daily basis. like Carrera she also initially had no respect
for rimuru and wanted to kill him, that is until he offered her an orichalcum homunculus with an
emulated soul. after which she became extremely loyal to rimuru.

Great sage use unique skill degenerate's ability synthesis( it fuse things) to completely fuse unique skill degenerates to great sage. Great sage now possess degenerate abilities called "synthesis" and "separation". Then great sage try to evolve again this time it was successful evolved into ultimate skill wisdom king:Rafael. Then Rafael use synthesis to completely fuse "merciless" into "gluttony" then it evolved into ultimate skill gluttonous king: Beelzebuth in first time because Rafael is thousands time better than great sage. Mercyless become a sub-skill of beelzebuth its called "soul consumption" which just more powerfull mercyless.
