- “Blessings” is a documentary by Bayer about the power of partnerships and collaboration and the resilience of smallholder grain farmers in South Africa. Through the Grain SA Farmer Development Programme, thousands of farmers have graduated to different levels of success - each reaching new goals as they learn and earn. They are not only building their own wealth but also contribute significantly to rural economies and food security for themselves and their communities. “Blessings” is a tribute to farmers and aims to be an inspiration, especially to newcomers to grain production in rural South Africa.
Bayer is one of several industry partners that supports this initiative by Grain SA. Through the stories of farmers, this powerful documentary showcases the benefits of partnerships in the agricultural sector between agricultural companies, parastatals and organisations such as Grain SA. Most of all, it celebrates the commitment and grit of farmers.
The documentary was funded by Bayer and produced by No-Line Productions.
Well done south Africa this is a powerful model
Very touching documentary indeed. Our people. Our mother land and our country South Africa. Our home, our Rainbow nation. Halala Bayers.
What a beautiful initiative. I’m in Johannesburg and dipping my feet into farming. I wish to reach such heights one day
I'm thrilled to see so much interest and enthusiasm from black farmers on documentaries so that some of us also get to see their hard work.Easily one of the best documentaries I've seen in a while. I hope this is seen by a large audience.
This is so amazing. How I wished it extends to some parts of Africa
Well done to great players like Grain SA with Farmers development in South Africa. Keep up Grain SA for making different among small scale farmers.
The Mthethwa story must be shared…. It is impressive how the father left the legacy for his children.
Congratulations to the organization. Please try and add your contacts so that those in different parts of Africa can contact you for agricultural advice
