Ironman, Reed Richards,, Professor X, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt and Namor, were the original members.
In Jonathan Hickman's, "Time Runs Out", Captain America and Black Panther did join the team because of the impending Incursion.
I, for one, am especially excited to see Namor in Illuminatti interacting with the other heroes. He's such a great longtime Marvel character who can be both hero & villain at times. Let's hope we see more of Namor...perhaps in cahoots with Dr. Doom or Emma Frost as seen in the comic books.

I liked him in WF but they really need to give him his black and gold outfit, and do something about Atlantis or whatever it was called because I did not like that at all, it was trash, Atlantis should be an actual city imo like with walk in buildings and the whole 9. They could easily say Namor never showed Shuri the real Atlantis just the outside.

Like imagine a scene where Sam is taking on a rogue Navy vessel or something and you just hear the song of sirens and Namor people overtake ship with the goal of getting Sam on his side because Namor is very good at reading the political situation and aligning himself properly.

It is bullshit that they haven't yet had Wong return his rightful title and position to him yet.
Wong would never defy the wishes of The Ancient One. Even if he had to step up out of obvious necessity. After the blip and a short period of acclimation for Strange, he would have abdicated and returned the position back to Strange.
The idiot writers Feige keeps hiring, no background or love of the Source material, no experience and an agenda to push, is just ruining all the foundation laid in Phases 1-3.
And whatever they're planning now is just pandering to fan service out of desperation to try and stop the exodus of fans sick of watching them ruin everything that was laid down before. They are desperate to stop the apathy... like what happened to the comics division, or how they butchered Star Wars to the point that nobody cares about it anymore

I think that the incursion was from the first movie when doctor was bargaining with dormammu and somehow afterwards it messed up everything and somehow clea saw it all happened.

Here's hoping that Dr Strange finally has his title of Sourceror Supreme rightfully returned to him. Which would also be in accordance with the Ancient One's final decree.
It is a ridiculous show of Ego that Wong will not abdicate and return the position back to Strange. In my opinion it is an unlikeable aspect of Wong's character development. Not too mention it contradicts the absolute reverence Wong held for his former Master/Teacher. He would never go against her wishes. Sure he stepped up after the Snap, but upon Strange's return, he should have, after a short period of readjustment and acclimation for Strange, returned it to him after the blip.

What the Illuminati in the comics do is the equivalent of trying to put out a fire with fuel. Remember when Star-Lord got shit on for botching the plan in Infinity War? If the MCU Illuminati is completely faithful to the source material, every member will go through the same thing.

DS2 was already barely about Strange & his character needs some kind of personal story arc and development that is not moping about Christine. Because that's mainly what he did in DS2, unneededly since Derrickson concluded the non-relationship just fine in DS1.
Unless all these characters come in a post-credit scene & get established in A6.

7:39 Sooo there’s a problem with this theory. Incursions happen when people from one universe “trespass” into another universe. So… how are they going to explain multiple people from disparate universes being in the same reality at the same time without that universe getting torn out by incursions?
I believe the Incursion Strange caused could also be with the universe of the Defender Strange, since our Steven sleepwalked into his corpse which is from his universe , but was present in 616

I just want the memory spell to wear off in Dr. Strange 3 he put on Spider-Man revealing it was the second time he wiped memories, and the first time was directly after Endgame when he used Time Stone to bring Tony back before wiping the memory so nobody remembered he faked his death.

I just can’t believe that disney wouldn’t be doing some kind of pivot in direction by now.
I’m older and just liked it when leaks weren’t a problem smh 😂 and the russos just did an interview said they not keen on RDJ coming back and Feige said it would diminish what they did in endgame! So we’ll see
Fxcc the Russo’s because RDJ never wanted Iron Man to be killed off to begin with and neither did John Favreau or Feige initially it was all the Russo’s. Now it did enable that movie to hit that much harder but also left the barrel dry going forward when the truth is RDJ was ready to make an Iron Man 4 after a couple years off.
The notion it would diminish Endgame is absurd still too and please don’t say sacrifice because it’s a movie where let himself die leaving his daughter a bastard.
So the smartest thing to do is simply do what we all know Tony Stark would have done, and fake his death. Strange knew it was coming, so he had already planned on using the time stone to bring Tony back and then wiping the memories like he did Spider-Man so nobody remembered he was alive, this way Tony could go raise his daughter with Pepper in private somewhere in the woods.
They can just as easily bring Steve back by saying he was wearing a Widows mask at the end of Endgame because what really happened when he went back with the stones, is he put them all back except for the soul stone he gave to Clint and took Nat back. Zero chance Cap is giving Red Skull the Soul Stone.
10:10 - Dr. Strange visited a dozen alternate universes when he went reality-skipping with America Chavez.
Ioan Gruffudd will always be the best Reed Richards. I really hope he is brought back and the silver sides of the hair would be appropriate for his age.

I've been convinced for a while that the best version of avengers 5 is an incursion war between 616 and probably 838 but the specific universe wouldn't matter as long as the leader of that universes "army" was RDJ as iron man. Thats easily the best way to bring him back while making it feel different. If they want to go even further they can have chris evans as cap be co-leader with him. Our cap wouldnt sacrifice one earth for another but this cap would maybe change his mind as the plot progresses. Other than that, I would love to see a magneto be heavily involved with the plot as well as a black panther
Man if I was Feigi I’d think about creating a small group of comic book artists/writers and start using comics made and written about the MCU that gives him a place to build up to the movies by releasing a couple issues before a certain movie or series releases. Also since they don’t do traditional origin stories much when introducing a new character then a comic can be where it’s done. This could bring in some more revenue that goes directly into future movies/series
It would require writers and artists that love the characters and don't have ideological/political agendas to push.
They basically let the woke folk absolutely decimate the comics division.
Character runs that used to sell in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS up to even Millions of issues, now barely sell 2k - 5k... before getting cancelled. Some might get into the low 5 figures, but drop off really fast.
It survives off the revenue of 2-3 titles that apparently the editor in chief won't let them ruin with their ineptitude.
