This dude RULES. His instruction is so clear and logical, reminds me of my old coach. He makes everything make sense. And he's doing classic freestyle too! Bringing in the leg lace turnover, hell yeah!
Is Lyubo okay?looks like he landed wrong or got landed on wrong. You can see it right after when he started explaining. He comes down amd puts his hands on his knees and is breathing pretty hard but tries to power through to show it one or two more times for us.lol Hope he is alright and I appreciate his generosity and commitment to teaching.
What about attacking the leg that's closest to you? Example: pause at 1:20; if he stepped his right foot behind opponent's left and reached down with his left hand to the inside of opponent's left foot. I am asking because I don't know. I am a BJJ guy trying to add takedowns.
You won't complete the takedown if you only control one side. The opponent can maintain balance and hop, and you will need to switch to single or high crotch... And that is a whole 'nother story. For ankle picks you want to go diagonal. My 0.02 eurocents.
@@Ownedyou It has worked for me if I catch them stepping back, but they were not high level opponents. I believe you are correct. It would probably fail against more skilled people. Thanks.
I really like Lyubo and I like the video details, but I think there is something missing. When you go for a 2 on 1 or a Russian Tie, the opponent will always do something like pushing on your head, pulling his arm out, grabbing your wrist or pulling on your elbow or simply running around to face you. In other words, I would like for Lyubo to show us these techniques when the opponent is actively defending or trying to get out of the 2 on 1 position. To his credit so far he's shown us what you can do when your opponent tries to for a guillotine from the 2 on 1 position. Also, I believe some techniques might not work depending on what the opponent is doing defensively. For instance, in the video where he is teaching going for a high crotch and then switching to a double leg takedown he explains what to do when your opponent blocks your double leg takedown transition. In this case what would be the alternative if I grab his wrist that will be going for the ankle pick?

Does anyone know of any one single example of the two on one being used in mma? Ever?
Bandogge Mastiff I believe Jonny jones used is to a inside trip during his fight with bonnar.
Anderson Silva vs Stephan Bonnar to set up the finish
Damn thought that was Gary tonnon
