The Mayberry Bond is tradeable on the JSE, its just you may not be able to get the units you want or get it sold quickly if you want to sell. But you can speak with your broker and ask if they can get it sold for you, or for you to buy.

eg….. Say you go to a KFC and there 300 customers ahead of you in the queue…. It’s a long wait to get served…. But, if you made an order on an app or over the phone; you can walk in and pick up without joining the queue.
The JMMB app doesn’t save me time with my orders…. I still have to join the Jamaica Stock Exchange queue and have to wait more than 72 hours to fill an order….. I can’t earn a profit when my order is still pending after several days.
It’s like the Bank of Jamaica is running a patty shop at the JSE…. Maybe the workers are sitting down on the job and not taking the orders from the brokers on time.
It’s not just JMMB orders that are delayed….. Sagicor is another broker in which, I have to place an order over the telephone…. The staff at Sagicor takes 40 million years to answer the telephone then I have to wait another 40 million years for them to place the order on the JTrader platform.
In addition to this, the JSE staff takes 40 million years to execute my order from their long everlasting queue, which consist of thousands of day traders from several other brokers and licence securities dealers in Jamaica.
The system or placing orders on the JSE (JTrader) needs a huge overhaul…… It’s an absolute mess.
We need someone like Mr Fairman to go downtown and tell the lazy people at the JSE to stop sit down on the job and stop delaying the orders from traders who are sacrificing their hard earn money to put into the stock market.
